So I was happy when I heard that Netflix was picking it up when it got cancelled. I'm 4 eps in and I'm cringing at the predictability they're going with. I mean there's still some parts I'm enjoying but at the same time I'm going "Really? They went there?"

I honestly didn't care for S4. But for the twin brother trope? I'll see where they take this.

I adored Lucifer (Mike Carey) so I've been studiously ignoring this.

Oh yeah they're not particularly related except in name and maybe his personality?  I'm going to read the comic one of these days soon actually.

Okay so far this isn't a disaster. I kinda wish I could take out some of the stupid stuff from last season and leave the stuff that built up for this season but wishful thinking.

I'm so glad that they didn't do the whole "Lucifer is my daddy" move with Maez in that backstory about Lillith. I thought they were leaning in on that with the "Big Secret" Micheal was hinting at.
