    Somehow I didn't realize we were on Ep 3 already. I somehow missed the real Ep 1 and started on Ep 2 so I had to backtrack and watch that and then continue with 3

    It was when they were showing flashbacks of Saigiri's investigation of Gabimaru that I was like "wait, when did that happen?" And the mentioning of his wife that he didn't even mention in Ep 2 (which what I thought was Ep 1 at the time) so I got thrown big time.

    And honestly? I am legit curious just how much of that "here's all these fuckers already dying as soon as they get onto the island" that is legit real. Although I do love the instant Battle Royale vibes I got with that. I mean obviously the dark haired woman is still alive because 1.  No blood on her unlike the red-haired guy she was "making an alliance" with and 2. She's in the OP credits. I feel pretty sure that the Concubine Prisoner is legit dead and possibly the Eye-Patch Guard. But with how WTUTTERF this episode ended with weird creatures, I am wondering just how mind-fucked are we gonna get and see what was legit real and what might not be what it seems?

    Duuuuude that finale was "chef kiss* And as much as I'm not a fan of the animation style really fitting with this series I will give them credit for the effects in some of the scenes near these last couple of episodes and that final fight. I actually really enjoyed how that fight flowed.

    Like Rei's pops is head of the fucking Mafia. Did they REAAAAAALLY think he was gonna just gonna let it be if the boys gave up Miri?
    I also find their optimism of "we're giving up being hitman" entertaining since now we get to spend the last eps of them getting their asses beat up before the miraculous twist to save them happens and give a happy ending.

    ALSO HOW THE FUCK CAN A 4YR OLD SLEEP THROUGH A GUN SHOT EVEN IF THE GUY HAD A SILENCER BECAUSE I'M PRETTY SURE KAZUKI DIDN'T HAVE ONE

    I knew straight away that the Doc would be the first to go down, though he pulled through in the end. Kind of tame for the Urobutcher, really. 


    Bummer about the tiger… though it was a pretty clever way for Yuen to take care of it!


    What a jump by Raizo to take out the other dude! :lol: 

    It was so close to a happy-ish ending, but something had to happen to Raizo… and it did :-/ :salute:

    I expected Raizo to die in the end. I just wish it wasn't a stupid rando char that was made a feeble attempt to "avenge" his team that felt super anti-climatic for a final fight tbh that did him in. Just tgat whole other Revenger team felt a little weak sauce when they were starting with a strong introduction. But that's really my only minor complaint. Good series overall. 

     

    Ars No Kyujuu had a good ending for all but that last 3 seconds. Like wtf. (Unless rhey actually have a final episode next week but i was ptetty sure today was the last ep)

    Isekai is what sells right now. To the point where some isekai make fun of it in small ways it's gotten such a hot genre. So kinda not surprised but that's saying that without having seen the series. Nothing against it, i've just gotten more choosey since the genre exploded.

    As for other anime's as much as I've enjoyed The Legend of Heroes anime, trying to pull a slow and heavy driven story of a JRPG series doesn't work well for a 12 episode anime. 

     

    I've also really enjoyed a few other anime this season. MHA, The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten, and Chillin in my 30s after getting fired from the Demon King's army...you know they should really fix some of the anime titles...

    Danmachi s4 ended really well.

     

    Also i don't mind rhe long titles because honestly that's the english translation in the end from rhe Japanese titles that are technically shorter. Even regular literature occasionally has long titles or titles that aren't directly in synce with the content of their stories. That's why most anime gets abbreviated nicknames like Konosuba. 🤷‍♀️

    Also interested to see where Dr. Stone leads with this season. Moar primitive science crafts!
    And Konosuba will be great for just plain insanity stuff. I'm looking forward to this. And finishing the 2nd half of Vinland Saga S2.

    But other than those 2. Looks like Spring is super Isekai heavy and nothing else is catching my interests. (Other than maybe the Magical Girl Destroyer one but that sounds like another anime I've seen with actual magic and more action.) Who knows maybe this is my season to catch up on older stuff.

    I wasn't to fond of Bell until midway of Season 3 or mainly after he got his ass kicked by Asterius , but holy hell he's turned out to be a really enjoyable main character. Him using firebolt to cauterize his wound was crazy. 

     

    I'm tempted to pick up the Light Novels, because I've read that Ais is a much better character in the LN's than the Show. Because at this point how could you support Ais & Bell instead of Ryuu? 

     

    The voice actor for Ryuu has also done an incredible job with the emotions in the voice.

    I legit wasn't expecting so much character background or growth in Ryu like this. Like she always did have the air or "she's seen some shit" in order to have the tag name of "The Gale" but hawt fucking damn.

    Bell went a little bit as expected in the earlier seasons. But i seriously fucking love how he's taking the lessons and skills he develops to fucking problem solve the way he has been and never just accepting that there's 2 ways to go. As Ryu is learning about him. I'm fucking dying to hear more backstory with his grandfather tho.

    Between the various versions of manga, which i have some volumes of and the LN, i havent really been able to keep up both financially and time wise (i actually have accidentally bought doubles of 2 vol of manga because of this) so i had to give up.

    To Your Eternity finished with just as much heart rendering feels as S1. But even though the ending left hardly any loose ends. S3 apparently is in production.

    WHAT KIND OF EMOTIONAL ROLLAR COAST ARE THEY PLOTTING FOR A S3 AFTER A SATISFACTORY ENDING LIKE THAT!? :twitch2:
