    Ah, horror vibe i totes get. I don't get that at all in the battles or majority of scenes compared to other series. But i def agree to do a pre-watch do get a better feel for it since you know your kid and what she can handle better than i do.

    The art style is phenomenal and how well they blend the 2D and 3D bits is almost on par with Chainsaw Man in how well they do it.

    Skip to Loafer is indeed cute but i think Dr. gives it more rave than i would tbh. I admit it's better than i was giving the synopsis cresit for but it doesn't stand out to me the same way it does him.

     

    I'll legit be pissed if Hell's Paradise doesn't get lit for a 2nd season. I love mind fucks like this and i feel they get underrated with the Isekai boom we are still having.

    So the story itself is a kid (Tanjiro) who lives in the mountains with his mother and siblings selling charcoal ends up losing his family to a demon devouring them. One of the older sisters tho, survives but because of the attack, turns into a demon herself and he wants to of course save her. And of course a demon hunter shows up and tries to kill the demon sibling. Tanjiro learns about the world of said demons and demon hunters and convinces the hunter to let his sister live and train him to become a hunter so that he can find a cure for his sister to be human again. So the series is that journey, discovering many things about himself, his family, etc. Animation is gorgeous, character and story keep you riveting. And I totes get you wanna be a good parent to your kid while also making sure she can handle what she sees. kudos

    The language is honestly not too bad. I vaguely can only think of maybe 1 or 2 characters that would actually curse but then I'm also not listening to it dubbed so idk what my change between english and japanese.

    The main thing is VERY MUCH YES there is gore. And it pretty much hits you worse than Disney style in ep 1 or maybe 2 when Tanjiro loses his family. From large amounts of blood spilling, fairly graphic injuries happening that on occasion even make me squirm a bit. And of course a good amount of demons feasting on humans. The battles themselves get hugely intense and while a lot of it is happening fast, it. is. gory and bloody AF. So if you're worried about what might scare her. I suggest watching at least some of the first few episodes or maybe some quick youtube vids to get an idea. There is plenty of fun stuff too and light hearted moments, but when it gets down to business and fights. Ya gonna get a lot of blood and gore.
     

    Fan service........I don't think there's too much if any to be honest. Zenigatsu hits on ladies a lot but not in a lewdy way really. I think if there's any it's when you get to the Red Light District Arc because geisha/aka prostitutes (one of the Hashira in this arc is also poly with 3 wives but dunno if you care about that) and the current arc we're in now because there's a couple hot springs. But I legit for the life of me can't think of any major fan-service-y scenes.

    I wonder if Hell's Paradise is gonna get a 2nd Season? (I haven't double checked the episode count so if it's only 12-13 then we're just barely scratching the surface of stuff).
    Shit just keeps being spoon fed here to us and I love/hate it sync because of it.

                      ? Doshi (underlings who are competent)
                      Many Soshin (mindless religion frakensteins)
                      Tan (fuel ingredient to make Elixir of Life)
                      1 Ent and 1 immortal kid that is also possibly Tensen
                      5 prisoners and 5 guards left

    And tao is the key of power here that seems to be the secret to defeating the Tensen.

    Mmmmmm yesss poke.....I'm mad that the ONE FREAKING POKE PLACE that was hella close to me (like next door to my work) got closed down and all the other ones are too far out for delivery. They were so freaking good. :bawling:

    I wasn't interested in the story all that much with Oshi no Ko but with the kind of vids that have been coming up on my Youtube feed and giving me horror or creep vibe?......i'm slightly curious.

    - The little girl is def a Tensen (can't remember if they pointed that out in explanations with the Ent)
    -FUCK THERE ARE 7 OF THEM NOT INCLUDING MEI
    - The ents used to be human on the island. Probably turning into a tree isn't the worst death on the island?

    Yeah, holy shit, that last episode was awesome!  I love watching Tanjiro's growth, and I loved that he was able to do it with the black sword that was supposedly supposed to be so weak.  Still trying to figure out what the hell is up with that flame swordsman he sees in his visions.  Maybe it was his dad?  because apparently that adult Tanjiro looking guy is just him in some kind of vision/inherited memory?  I dunno, I'm kinda confused by what's going on there and maybe I just need to go back and watch the first couple episodes and then the arc in the forest so I can make more sense of it lol.

     

    So, Genya is a demon?  Is that a new change or has that always been his thing?  I think the latter makes sense due to him not dying anyway, but it's wild.

    I'm gonna bet 2 theories with Genya:

     

    1. He's been a demon since before his slayer exam. Like probably has some simlar story to Nezuko to how he became one but somehow has more control over his human side which they'll def go into.

    2. Hybrid Demon-Human born. Probably has conditions of him switching and explains why he can go out in sunlight u like Nezuko.

    I legit thought there was gonna be a twin brother thing going which would explain why Tanjiro thought he had a missing tooth and was corrected by Genya. But with him being demon. It makes a lot of sense because boom, just heals faster.

     

    As for the Flame Swordsman? It's one hell of a misdirection they're doing here to see if he's Tanjiro's dad or something more. I can't wait to see what the prestige there reveals.
