    The Super Mario Bros Movie

Still wish anyone else but Chris Pratt would voice Mario, but this does look quite good.

    Completed Games 2022

    1) Uncharted: Lost Legacy 2) Spelunky 2 3) Portal 2 4) Death's Door 5) Tunic 6) Rogue Legacy 2 6a) Rogue Legacy 2 (New Game+1) 6b) Rogue Legacy 2 (New Game+2) 6c) Rogue Legacy 2 (New Game+3) 7) Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge 8 - Aperture Desk Job 9) God Of War (2018) 10) The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD 11) God of War: Ragnarok I really loved this, probably not more than 2018, but it's pretty close. Definitely felt like an epic game. Felt like they may not have had enough story for two more games, so they made a game and a half, and it took me close to 24 hours to beat, all told. That's with very little side quests done, too (I don't think I did more than 3). The final boss battle ranks up there with the best/most epic I've ever played, and I think it may have knocked Wind Waker's final battle down a notch. Curious to see where they go from here, without spoiling anything.

    Famous Deaths

The voice of Batman, Kevin Conroy dies at age 66 This...this fucking hurts.
  5. What a long ass movie, I didn't realize it was gonna be near 3 hours long. Felt like it, too. Will type out more thorough thoughts in the morning.
  6. I know I read the final arc, but I honestly remember none of it. I don't even know how long ago it came out. Doesn't help that there's over a dozen characters to remember/re-learn BEFORE the Quincies.
  7. As with anything like this it's hard to get too excited, but this shows promise for sure.
  8. That Quincy became very Resident Evil-esque by the end there, that was freaky af
  9. I'm tempted to re-read through some (maybe all) of the manga, but that seems like a lot to read, lol.

    Marvel General

Harrison Ford to take over role of General Ross
  11. That ending was not what I expected, but I loved it! That 70s Hulk show intro was top notch. Her breaking out of her show entirely, to meet with Kevin, who turned out to be a GLaDOS style robot (complete with hat!). Her asking about the X-Men and for more Daredevil? That seemingly random drop of Skaar out of the blue? So much good shit! My only real complaint about the ending is that asshole Josh didn't get what was coming to him. Are they making a Planet Hulk movie at some point? Overall I enjoyed the show, didn't love every bit of it, but I'll be damned if they didn't nail that ending.
  12. It was soooooo fucking good to see Charlie Cox back as Daredevil/Matt Murdock. My one complaint is that they made him a little too jokey, but there's still plenty of time to turn that around. Also wasn't a fan of his fight with Jen having CG, but I also understand why they did it, being the first time he's fought another actual powered person. All in all it was a good mix, even if they did rob Charlie of a hallway fight scene somewhat in this, which bummed me out a tad. The stuff with the villain finally starting to come more full front into the picture is nice, although it did feel a bit rushed. Will have to see how next week's finale goes before giving a final thought on it all. I'm wondering if, when she loses it at the gala and the red lights are going off, are a hint at her turning red for the potential appearance in the Thunderbolts movie. Pretty sure they don't have a Hulk equivalent in that line-up at the moment.

    What listen ?

Some song by Soundgarden called Taree that I'd never heard before today. Pretty good.
  14. Man, fuck Josh. I was thinking that before the end reveal, but that just solidified it.

    Completed Games 2022

    1) Uncharted: Lost Legacy 2) Spelunky 2 3) Portal 2 4) Death's Door 5) Tunic 6) Rogue Legacy 2 6a) Rogue Legacy 2 (New Game+1) 6b) Rogue Legacy 2 (New Game+2) 6c) Rogue Legacy 2 (New Game+3) 7) Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge 8 - Aperture Desk Job 9) God Of War (2018) 10) The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD Had to wait at the house for my car to get fixed, so I gathered the ol' Wii U, cleaned it off, and brought it over to the apartment. Had to re-purchase the game, as I had sold it (why, I have NO idea) but it's worth it, as it's one of my all time favorite games. I love the world, the characters (Ganondorf is fucking amazing), and the game still holds up visually, almost 10 years later. It also has one of my favorite final battles in the entire series. I also have Twilight Princess HD, I may get bored enough to give that game another go. I'd beaten it once back on the Wii when it came out, and tried again when the HD version came out but just couldn't do it. I'm also considering playing through Breath of the Wild again sometime soon too.

    Work History

Where have you worked? I've really only worked two places, at a local bank, and FedEx. I worked at a local bank as a temp, I just never realized how temporarily until it was over. I basically just transported important documents between local branches. It was pretty dope because I got to use my own car, so I could just have music blasting wherever I went. I enjoy driving in general, so I enjoyed that job quite a bit. Something that wasn't disclosed to me when I got hired was that it was only for one week. I came in the next week ready to work and that's when I found out the truth. Kinda shitty, if you ask me. The only other place i've worked is FedEx. Been there since July of 2000. I started off as what was called a "casual" in that i'd come in for an hour, hour and a half a day and work the PM operation. Unloading trucks, or loading the packages into the containers that'd go onto the planes. Did that until I was old enough to drive for the company (you have to be 21 to drive for FedEx). I've been doing that ever since, always only part time. I originally covered routes for people on their day off, so I had a few routes I knew. Eventually I got one of those routes to do all the time, and I did that same route for close to 10 years. The businesses I would go to would fluctuate, but it was always in the same area. It was also the busiest/heaviest route i've had at the company. I would take one of the larger vehicles we had (that wasn't a full on semi truck), and come back with it fully loaded the majority of the time. I mostly picked up at Quiksilver, and they would always have tons of boxes, most weighing close to 40 pounds. I eventually got tired of that route and began looking for others. After that route, I worked one that was on the coast and the surrounding areas. I've always loved the area I live in as it's right by the beach, so to have a route down there was amazing. The only real downside to that route for me was having to pick up at the local hotels, as they could get pretty busy, especially when there were conventions in town. Other than that, I loved it. Being able to do my job and look out the window to see the ocean was awesome. Unfortunately that route got taken away from me, and I was moved to another area not too far from where my current station is. It was mostly office buildings, which was a nice change of pace, but I got tired of doing pickups and started looking elsewhere in the company. Currently I do what's called expedites. Basically if there are packages in the morning that have bad addresses, the people working the front counter correct those and they go out later in the day for delivery. There's that, and sometimes packages from other stations will get picked up, and they'll send a driver to the airport to meet with drivers from other stations, who will then give them to the correct stations. Those get brought back, and i'll deliver those. It's a much easier, less stressful position than any other i've worked at in the company. It's one that people seem to get and hold on to for as long as possible. The nice thing about it is that all of the stress is in the front half of my day. I don't know how busy i'll be until I get there, but by the time I leave the building, I know exactly how much work I have to do, and there's no rushing from place to place to get to a stop before it closes. The boss wants me back by a certain time, but if I can't make it back it's no big deal as long as all of my deliveries get done. Holy shit, I did not expect to write this much once I started this topic.

    AEW General

I've been a huge Punk mark for years, but his attitude lately has me almost wanting him to not be around any more. It's starting to seem like he's more trouble than he's worth. Plus, this is the second time he's had the belt put on him and almost immediately gotten hurt, maybe don't give it to him for a bit?
