Yeah it seems like they phoned it in for this one a little even if kids still also want to play it (regarding cutting features and Pokemon). Kids will play pretty much anything. Look at Fortnite the lootbox buying simulator. That's not what I'd want them to measure by. Good games are good games and kids will still play games that have good stuff in them (likely ignoring the added layers of complexity). It obviously is a pretty game though. Better than a handheld is easy with the power of a console so I was expecting a little more. Not awful or anything though.
