Been listening to the Stone Roses S/T album quite a bit this week. I really never get tired of this album. Also stumbled on this band, Vision 3D, today on bandcamp and I'm quite enjoying the album:

That Mario game is on my watch list. I'd like to play it someday if I find a deal. We got to the Elite Four in Pokemon X this week, so this weekend we'll find out if my daughter can finish that off. Last night on a whim I picked up a rhythm game that was on sale for almost nothing. Just had to redeem some gold coins for it. It was trash Also been playing a bit of Super Mario World on the SNES thingy. Not planning to finish necessarily, just having a bit of fun.

I watched for a bit but had to check out early. How did you do?

Gonna be a lot of The Cars in the rotation this week in honour of Ric Ocasek

After years of only having a 3DS and Vita, it has not been easy adjusting to Switch game prices. There are very few games that I'm willing to pay $80 for.

I was so in the tank for the PSX that I really didn't give any thought to the idea of also asking my folks for an N64. I'd go over to friend's houses and play N64 and basically just wish I was playing my PSX games instead I guess I missed out on a lot of good stuff though. I do distinctly recall being really jealous of my one friend who had a 3DO. That thing was pretty damn rad for a little while. Glad I never ended up owning one though!

I'd love to see a remaster of Parasite Eve. It's been so long that I honestly don't remember the game that well, but at the very least I remember liking it quite a bit.

That's one thing I definitely do not regret. The GameCube was fantastic. I'm sure I missed out on some cool PS2 games, but oh well. When I got my PSX it was a promo: Trade in an SNES + games (I think it was a min. 10 or 12 games) to get a PlayStation. I kinda wish there was a way I could have held on to that SNES collection of mine, but in the end the PSX was so worth it.

These days I'm all about the Easy Mode

The villagers are growing on me. The show in general is growing on me. The moment with Suika with the glasses was great. I didn't even think of mercury, but that's a good guess. Pretty sure they can use it for gold/silver extraction.

Am I the only one who basically has zero interest in this remake..? I do kinda want to replay the original eventually though.

I'm gonna finish up the final gym leader in Pokemon X with my daughter this weekend. And I've also been goofing around with the SNES games on Switch. Once Pokemon X is done, we should get back on Captain Toad. I got it for her a while back and she played it a bit, but she was quite bad at it I should at least beat it myself.

I was on a bit of an Echo and the Bunnymen kick earlier this week, also quite a bit of Joy Division. Since yesterday mostly Daniel Johnston though. Poor guy died yesterday.

Poor Felix, what a quick decline over the last few years. I think the dude just had too many innings on his arm at a relatively young age. Over 2700 IP now at age 33. And it doesn't help that it seems he wasn't resistant to pitching different as his stuff/velo declined over the years. Look at the changes CC Sabathia had to make to pitch better once he finally realized that he couldn't just blow a fastball by guys anymore. I feel like Felix was more resistant to those types of changes.

Alright, I'll take your word for it... but I'm still quite put off by the price

I like the action elements of most Zelda games, but puzzle-heavy dungeons are a drag. That's what the FAQ is for.

There are so many better ways to spend your time over Twitter Try to stay away as long as you can. Welp, he found us. Time to make a new secret board, web.

I am mildly interested in Link's Awakening. I don't even know why there is a part if me that still wants to like Zelda games. I generally don't enjoy most of them If I do ever play this one, two things are for sure: i) I won't pay full price (79.99 CAD for a remake of a Game Boy title, WTF Nintendo ); ii) I'm FAQing start to finish to increase the odds of enjoyment. I should really just save all my money and replay one of the two Zelda games that I know I like (LttP or Minish Cap).

So I've been really impressed with a few Netflix series, having recently watched Violet Evergarden and B: The Beginning. I know they have more originals/exclusives, but I feel like I'm really on a roll here and don't want to mess it up by picking something shitty to watch next. So I am trusting you guys and gals to give me a recommend: What Netflix anime should I start on next?

I'll buy a case of them!
