For me it's Vietnamese rice wine

The Jays (26-20) are in second place a half-game ahead of the Yankees (26-21) in the division standings. Tomorrow they start a three game series @ NYY and then they have a four game series in Buffalo next week These are big games for both teams. Let's go Blue Jays!

Hard to pick just one

I think banners tend to look better with a frame of some sort, even if it's just a 1 pixel border. Any kinda of Dragon Ball banner/avatar gets a thumbs up from me Having said that, if I can nitpick a bit: It's kinda big for my liking, but that might just be because I got used to the image size restrictions over the years. (I'm sure a banner that wide would not have been allowed at the old Center...?) I also think the font is kinda huge.

They almost had me fooled for a second there, though it did seem unlikely that they would actually kill off Kosame. I'm excited for the eventual showdown with Gil.

I gotta catch up on this. I think I'm two weeks behind. Last episode I watched was the break / hot spring one. Jing Also Sofia drinking TJ under the table

Maybe the balls are juiced. There has been a lot of speculation about the balls over the last two seasons. Some of the opposite field homeruns you see these days don't look like they're hit well enough to be homers, it's weird. The ball just kinda gets flung over the fence.

They were just so bad last night. I guess all those minutes started to take a toll..? Can't think of a better explanation. I'm curious to see what the team will look like next season - whenever that is. Gasol and Ibaka's contracts are up. Gasol has looked pretty cooked lately, I wonder if he just retires. Serge still has gas left in the tank, but I don't know if the Raps want to retain him. Other teams might be making him offers as well. And Fred will be a free agent. I think he's done enough to impress a lot of teams. There must be some teams out there that need a point guard that will throw money at him. Masai is going to have some work to do.

They didn't deserve to win this one. Pretty ugly game overall (especially for the Raps).

Sloppy play, too many turnovers. Still time left and it's close-ish, but it's hard to see the Raps winning this game

I hate to say it because I usually can't stand Boston teams, but these Celtics are actually pretty damn likeable. Tatum is really, really good. Ugh.

The Blue Jays lost 18-1 tonight

What out-of-season anime have you watched recently?

I wonder if it will be a bit less exciting on Netflix without the suspense of watching it weekly..? Still a great show anyways. -
I'm surprised they're still playing hockey at all!

29 runs is nuts, but I think the 19-0 shutout is perhaps more impressive. The Tigers only had 2 hits the whole game

I stopped watching it so there's no going back now

I tuned in late because I had to take my daughter to figure skating. I didn't see most of the first half, but I assume it was pretty forgettable.

I thought for sure they were done for at the start of OT2 They live to play another game! Very solid defense most of this game. Kyle was incredible. Norm finally stepped up. Gasol even hit a couple shots. If only they could find a way for Siakam to be more effective.

Self isolation, social distancing, sheltering in place, whatever else you call it

It's tough. They can only do so much. The government is pumping more money into education, but the isn't a limitless supply of cash. And so many schools are old and at capacity as it is. Can't make the schools bigger and more spacious overnight. My daughter is in grade 5 this year and follows instruction well, so I'm not worried about her ability to follow all the safety rules. But I am hoping that lots of other families at our school have chosen to opt out. The fewer kids in my daughter's class, the better! -
Gotta give credit to Boston's defense. Quite a few of the Raps' missed "open" looks from 3-point range have been pretty deep 3's. Not easy shots to make regularly, unless it's Dame Lillard out there. Toronto has to work super hard to get points on Boston's defense

It depends from province to province, and even school board to school board within the province. In our case, the school board gave families the option to opt out of in-person schooling in favour of learning online. I think the opt out was for the first semester, and then you'd get the chance to change your mind. Despite concerns, we ultimately think it's best for our daughter to be back in school. Being at home all this time hasn't been good for her. And it really isn't feasible for us to keep her at home anyhow. School is starting a week later to give teachers extra prep time, so they're back next week. One week of staggered start with the students split into two groups coming in on alternate days, and then the following week they're all back 5 days a week (if an outbreak doesn't shut it all down before that ) -
Have you still kept up-to-date on AoT? Read chapter 132 yet??? Oh man

So, tonight's the night. What do you think @Vic Boss ? Do they force a game 7, or are they done? Gasol has been bad all series, and apparently Ibaka is questionable because of his ankle. If Gasol doesn't impress early tonight, and Ibaka can't play, then I think they need to try going small a bit more. Lowry, VanVleet, Norm, OG, Siakam. Play fast, move the ball, etc. Gasol hasn't been giving them much of anything. Might even need to give Terence Davis or Matt Thomas some more minutes if VanVleet or Norm aren't hitting shots. They need a spark from somewhere, and I think Nurse will have to play whoever is playing best for big minutes tonight.

I'm getting pretty paranoid about COVID-19 again these days. I guess it's a combination of my daughter going back to school next week, going out to more places over the last few weeks, and the rising case numbers in the news Every little thing - an ache, a random sneeze, whatever - now tends to send my imagination running wild thinking about how I've got the virus and my impending doom Thankfully my wife is pretty good at talking me back down to Earth
