Thanks for the reminder, I still haven't watched the first Hathaway movie... maybe tonight! I wonder if/when we'll get another new TV series. It's been years now since IBO ended, which I enjoyed a lot. I'd like to see another totally new series. I guess they're still working on the G-Reco movies right now, and of course Hathaway. It would be nice if they have something planned for when all those movies are done.

Dr. Stone # 205 — I think I have a new favourite character Candy Flurry # 13 — Making me wait another week for the really good stuff… The exchange between Misaki and the intruder was kind of amusing though. Not much excitement in the latest chapter of The Elusive Samurai, but it expanded on the supernatural stuff that started to get introduced in the previous chapter. Background / world-building. I think it’s pretty cool. There is a new one-shot from the Chainsaw Man creator. It’s long-ish so I haven’t opened it up yet, but I will start on it one night this week.

I finished FLCL Progressive tonight. I went in with rather low expectations — didn’t want to get my heart broken — but in the end I enjoyed it quite a bit. The first two or three episodes were just okay. I was not totally in love with it like the original FLCL, but it was okay. I think the fourth episode was where it really hit it’s stride for me. From there on out it was pretty darn great. Overall it was good. Not life-changing-good like the original, but very solid. It was not a bad sequel that tarnished the original for me. (Phew! ) the pillows are still fantastic. Some the new tracks were great, and I love that they busted out some of the classics too like “Last Dinosaur” and “I Think I Can” It kills me how good this song is

I think it’s a pretty safe bet that Aquatope will be my favourite anime this summer I'm not sure what to make of Sonny Boy yet.

Hmm... I gotta say, I'm kinda interested! I will not be spending 500 (or more) of my hard-earned Canadian funbucks on one any time soon. But if this thing takes off a bit and isn't just discontinued after a few months then I might actually consider it someday...

1) Taiko??? no Tatsujin Rhythmic Adventure Pack #1 2) Final ?Fantasy?? ???V 3) Chasm 4) Cosmic Star Heroine 5) Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker 6) Final Fantasy V (again) Finished off my Four Job Fiesta run last night. I had to lean pretty heavily on GilToss to get through it, but I got past Neo Exdeath without too much trouble on the second try without having to do any grinding beforehand. Before the Fiesta wraps up, I'll do another run or two for funsies. This run was all physical attacking jobs, so my next one will be focused on magic-casting jobs. I have also been chipping away at Doom (original) on Switch, a level here and a level there... I should get back on that soon.

I'm not a huge football fan, but I like to tune in for the big tournaments. I don't really know who's who when it comes to the players, aside from the super duper big names. Don't know which teams are supposed to be the strongest, who is the favourite to win, etc. I just want to watch some good games. Turkey vs. Italy is up on the TV now while I halfheartedly pretend like I'm still working. The Euro is going to be a nice distraction over the next few weeks, because I'm still working from home most days. Who else is watching? Who are you cheering for? etc.

I still didn’t check out Hunter’s Guild… keep forgetting Maybe tonight. Yeah, after an up-and-down start, I think The Elusive Samurai has been quite good lately. I’m enjoying it. YMMV of course, but it won’t take long to read 24 chapters to get current, so I’d recommend giving it another look.

It sucks going to penalties, but I think Italy played better most of the match. I’m gonna have a Peroni now

The Elusive Samurai # 24 — an interesting look into the supernatural side of what’s going on in this story Dr. Stone #204 — new character alert!!! Interesting twist at the end too. I’m curious to see how things play out next week. Candy Flurry # 12 — this is getting exciting (poor Misaki though )

I found it very relaxing and I’m a sucker for this kind story. The first episode reminded me a bit of Sakura Quest, which I also really enjoyed.

I think Aquatope is going to be a winner

Yeah the FLCL soundtrack is just one hit after another. I love the pillows. Fantastic use of music throughout all 6 episodes. Like I said in a previous post, it still holds up after all these years. Every time I rewatch it, it feels like the first time all over again. So good. An all-time favourite for me.

Doooo iiiiiiittt! I'm nearing the end of my run. Haven't had much time lately to play I pretty much just gotta beat Exdeath and I'm done, but I need to grind out a few levels first as my team won't be able to survive an Almagest.

I'll probably cheer for England today and in the final if they make it there, just 'cause they've never won it before, but I think any outcome will be satisfying as long as the final match is good. I was kinda surprised to see Italy has only won the Euro once. Denmark has also won it once. Germany and Spain have the most Euro wins (3 each) so, for the sake of variety, I'm happy neither of those countries are in the final.

Kinda feels like this is Italy’s tournament to lose now. Crummy ending to the match today. Going to penalties isn’t fun.

I’m not really waiting for anything. Just plain happy with what I’ve got. I hope there are people out there that are hyped for the thing though. Maybe that new screen is really nice.

Dr. Stone # 203 Kind of a weird chapter of Candy Flurry this week, but they’ve set up something big for next week There was a lot going on in that second chapter of Choujin X! Pretty random. But there was some amusing stuff. I’m curious to read more.
