A very feel-good episode of Aquatope this week

I'm working through Act I NM with my Druid now. It's been a cakewalk so far, but I'm sure it will become more of a challenge towards the end of NM.

Funi's licensed a few things I'm interested in this season, so if I renew my subscription then I'll have a look at Puraore too.

I was hoping for a tight game, pitching duel, last night. I mostly got what I wanted from it, except the starters both exited pretty early. I guess that's just how the game is played these days. Managers are so quick to go to the bullpen. I'm with you on most of those picks. Rays in 4 -- Depending on which version of the Red Sox shows up, it could be an easy sweep for Tampa, or it could be a 5-gamer. If all the stars align then I think Boston can knock out Tampa... but Rays in 4 seems more likely. Astros in 3 -- The White Sox were a great regular season team, but the Astros as a team have so much more postseason experience. The White Sox have some great pitching, but the Astros scored more runs than any other team in the MLB this summer. That will win out over Chicago's pitching. I want to cheer for the White Sox. They have a lot of exciting young players, and it's fun to see new faces in the postseason... but they also have TLR... Brewers in 4 -- I'm also giving the Braves a game here, but I won't be shocked to see a 3-game sweep. Giants in 5 -- I have doubted the Giants all season, but I guess I have to be a believer now. 107 wins. They kept it up all season, somehow. This one should go 5 games, whoever wins.

I’m not sure if my Druid will be viable in Hell, but Nightmare should be doable. My merc needs better gear to make my life easier though. I’m short one or two runes to make the rune words I want.

I checked out takt op.Destiny today. First episode was pretty solid. The characters are fun, it looks great. They fight with music Anime original. Reminds me a tiny bit of Listeners (from Spring 2020 season iirc). I will keep watching.

Yanks are out. Cole wasn't very good last night! I'm pretty hyped for the NL WC game tonight. I think it'll be a good one. I think the Dodgers are more likely to win... but the Cards have been so hot for the last month. It would be fun to see them knock out the 106-win Dodgers in the WC game, and then the 107-win Giants in the NLDS (Only to then get beat by the Brew Crew in the NLCS! )

Keep a Clay Golem out there against Diablo to take the heat off your skeletons, just keep recasting it when Diablo kills him. For some reason Diablo loves to target the Golem. It’s a great distraction.

Summoning Necro has always been my favourite class. It’s a cakewalk through normal and nightmare just with an army of skeletons and a handful of curses. Mix in Corpse Explosion later and hell is very doable too, even single player. The more gear-dependent classes can become a chore in single player once you get into nightmare, unless you’ve got some good items stored away in your stash for later use. I’ve played the Necro so many times before, I decided not to do it yet again in D2 Resurrected. But I did still want to have pets and play a character that would be relatively easy, so I picked a summoning Druid instead. Having a mere 3 Dire Wolves is not as impressive as a zillion skeletons, but the Druid has been fun too. It remains to be seen how viable this character will be in nightmare.

I also really dig the art style of Neru. In addition to the verbal clash / interrogation coming up in The Elusive Samurai, I think Ayako will do something big in the next chapter too. She’s a fun character. It will be nice to see her more involved. Good point re: Hunter’s Guild. This series feels rather slow compared to some of the other manga I’m reading now. I will lose interest before long, at this rate.

Gotta say, I'm pretty hyped for the doubles match coming up in Neru Also Tokiyuki is not in a good spot in The Elusive Warriors right now. I'm super curious to see how the next chapter goes.

This week’s episode of Fena was pretty nice. Not much excitement, but it was nice. I assume we’ll get back to the fun and action next week.

86 is back. Episode 12 was decent, if a bit random.

I play single player so I just have to power through it. It’s best to do all the jungles in one session, if time allows, otherwise I get lost when I come back to them later I’m in Act V now. Working my way through and thinking about what class I might play next…

Sox are up 7-5 now on Washington… I think the Jays’ season might be over

Looks like the Jays are winning today It would take an absolutely brutal bullpen collapse to blow a 12-2 lead It might not be your M's day though, Eizan... Also, the Nats are up 5-1 on the Red Sox! Chased Chris Sale early. I really didn't see that coming. Rays/Yanks are still 0-0, so who knows what will happen there. I am feeling hopeful that the Jays might be playing game #163.

Yeah, this chapter was all over the map. I don't doubt it could be made to be much more coherent as an animation.

That's a bummer. Oh well, two weeks isn't that long of a wait. (Better not be a 'Special Mission' chapter though...)

I can see the Yankees losing again today to Tampa, but the Nats are up against Chris Sale. That game seems pretty hopeless to me I do like the chances for Seattle and Toronto to win though. The O’s and Angels aren’t very tough competition. Toronto and Seattle wins would create a 3-way tire for the second Wild Card spot if New York loses. I’ll be shocked if Boston loses though.

That is terrible news. I don’t even know what to say anymore… I’m very sorry for your loss.

The jungles are behind me now. Didn’t take as long as I thought it would.

I am in the jungles of Act III now. This has always been my least favourite part of the game, though the first few areas of Act V give the jungles a run for their money... I'm gonna try to power through the dumb jungles this afternoon. It's all better once I hit... whatever area comes after the jungles... Lower Kurast? It's been so long.

No thanks Blue Jays! Pretty incredible though that the O’s won that series with Boston.

Aquatope #13 — I was feeling pretty bummed out from the Blue Jays’ loss. The start of this episode really cheered me up. New OP is great. I like the new girl in marketing with Kukuru. Everybody’s back in the aquarium Then it took a turn and I started getting bummed out again. “Nastiness” is right Reminds me of some folks I have the misfortune of working with… but then that final scene made everything better That was pretty damn perfect.

Yeah I saw that Also just saw the news that Ohtani is done pitching for the year, so the M’s don’t have to face him on the weekend. Nice bit of luck for Seattle.
