Good weird or bad weird? Or just weird weird..?

Lots of good things to catch up I was wondering for a while there if Choujin X had just quietly ended, but I guess it's going to keep on with an irregular release schedule. Ishida built up enough of a reputation with Tokyo Ghoul that he can probably do it however he wants. I'll keep reading it. Can't say I'm totally enthralled with the story, but it's good enough to more or less keep my interest, and I really like the art.

Yeah I’ve been paying for both on and off a long time now. I unsubscribe or resubscribe to Funi each season depending on what new anime will be available, but Crunchyroll has always been the mainstay. This change is really handy for me.

Everything on Funi is moving over to Crunchyroll, and starting with the Spring season new series will only stream on Crunchyroll. Guess I only need one subscription now, so that's handy.

Ayashimon #13 — this chapter was good, better than the last few. Shaping up to be a pretty fun fight! I’m stoked for the next chapter. Sakamoto Days #60

Yeah, I’m all-in on Akane-banashi! Chapter #3 was great I’m a sucker for this kind of story. Cheering so hard for Akane. I still don’t know much about rakugo, but it seems like the manga will teach me enough about it as it goes along. Earthchild has been good too, at least good enough to keep reading a bit longer. I hate these WastE guys already though…

Yay, you’re caught up That was fast! Great recaps I look forward to Fridays for a new episode every week. I guess I’ll spoiler my comments now:

Great running commentary! This story definitely gets weird and dark in spots, and goes in all kinds of directions, but I think it’s been pretty great so far. I agree that Wit Studio has done a really good job.

Platinum End #20 -- Better than #19, though I guess that's not saying much Not much excitement, but at least this episode was more compelling. Yoneda is becoming a more interesting character. Ousama Ranking #19 -- There was some great action in this episode! You guys and gals are missing out on some fun if you're not watching this.

Druid -- Summoner Druid, later re-spec'd into Wind Druid -- DONE Sorc -- Fireball Sorc, later re-spec'd into Frozen Orb / Fireball Sorc -- DONE Necro -- Summoner / Corpse Explosion -- DONE Barb -- Double Swing / Frenzy Barb, re-spec'd into Singer / War Cry build -- DONE Pally -- Conviction Zealot -- DONE Amazon -- Charged Strike / Lightning Fury / Freezing Arrow Javazon -- DONE Assassin -- Fire Trapsin My plan was to go all-in on Lightning Fury / Charged Strike and all of their synergies, as a pure Javazon, but I decided to re-spec in Hell and make her a hybrid Javazon / Bowazon to make lightning immunes easier to cope with. In the end I maxed Lightning Fury and Charged Strike for my main attacks with javelin, and Freezing Arrow (and almost maxed Cold Arrow as a synergy) for when I would swap to the bow. This charater was a bit of a glass cannon, and I had to play more cautiously than I did with the Pally that I Pat'd just before, but overall it was still pretty easy. Lightning Fury melts mobs of monsters that aren't lightning immune, and Freezing Arrow freezes everything so that adds some safety. Next up: A Fire Trapsin. I'll have to mix in something else, most likely Death Sentry or maybe the Blade traps, in Hell when fire immunes start popping up all over. But a pure Fire Trap build should get me through Nightmare without much trouble.

This is a really killer instrumental cover of "Reelin' in the Years". The interpretation of the vocals on baritone guitar is very nice. Nate Smith an incredible drummer. And Cory Wong just chugging away so steadily on his Strat is low-key great. He's got good time. Last but not least, Joe Dart, is taking a bit of a backseat on this track. Very tasteful playing on the bass.

Anybody here interested in Triangle Strategy? Played the demo? Thoughts? Curious to know what other people think about it. I've yet to find an SRPG that I really enjoy, but for some reason I keep wanting to find one that I will like... I haven't tried the demo yet, but I've been toying with the idea trying it out. Even if the demo blows me away, I'm certainly not buying an SRPG for full price on release, but I might Wishlist it and watch out for a good sale later on. If it doesn't sell well then it won't be long before a good deal will be available.

I think I’ll keep following Akane-banashi. I’m such a sucker for this kind of redemption story.

My brain has lots of holes in it Good thing the anime is coming up this spring—hopefully it will help jog my memory. edit: it’s probably because I was late to the Spy x Family appreciation party, so I binge-read a big chunk of it to get caught up. It’s easy for me to forget things when I do that.

Huh. According to leaks, a pretty big chunk came from U.S. donors. After that, I would’ve assumed people from Alberta and Saskatchewan would have given the most donations. That’s a lot of money coming from B.C.!

Yes the voice acting was pretty solid, and I was actually enjoying some of the background music quite a bit. It seems like they’re trying everything they can to make this good, but it still falls flat. I can see it being more tolerable in manga just because it would go by so much faster, like you said. Oh well. 5 episodes to go…
