    We finally got a chance to sit down and start Trigun Stampede together (and then I caught up current on it because I wanted to watch in Japanese, I'll still watch the English dubs with Lee as they release)

     

    The animation is MUCH MUCH more charming than the trailers seemed to be, there's still parts of it that just feel like CG clunk but they've really gone all out with facial stretch and squish for emotions and the like! Lots of good overall movement too, I'm really pleased and really enjoying the ride so far!

     

    Gonna give Buddy Daddies a go soon, I've been in a huge pain fog for like a month straight but there's light at the end of the tunnel so hopefully I can start other stuff too!

    ok well with other people i will scream and cry and tantrum but after I went too hard at Tassi to watch Ranking of Kings I wanted to be clear I would be respectful this time.

    DID ANYONE ELSE WATCH BOCCHI THE ROCK BECAUSE I FUCKING LOVE IT

     

    It's been on my list for manga to read and then anime to watch but other things got in the way, finally went to start it when the final ep was gonna air and binged it all lol

    I like how all my joking dramatics about WHO'S GONNA SAVE THE DAYYYYY somehow never had Yuri being the hero this time lmao Go forth and be a hero uncle, even if it's for Yor's sake and not Anya's! (still wanted Bond to be the hero tho)

     

    There were a couple of error panels this chapter, the bomb collars were forgotten a few times! Usually details are kept pretty well in this series so I actually went back and checked a few pages to make sure I hadn't missed or forgotten a removal or swap! It sounds like a criticism but more than anything I like how it made me go look, just shows me how much I enjoy the manga and what goes on :)

     

    I'm a few eps behind on the anime because I stopped keeping up with current eps because I've been watching the dubs with Lee but I might pull back ahead because I wanna see stuff animated and I love the japanese voices damnit

    Thank you! It'll even out eventually but it's been rough af.

     

    There's been stuff I enjoyed in the Culling Game arc but for the most part it just feels like it just DRAGS so hard, and a lot of the action is hard to read because of the art style. Assuming the anime makes it to this point though.... it'll probably be rad as hell when animated. At least in the latest chapters it really feels more like plot progression than it has in a while!

     

    I've never read all of JJBA either.... maybe once I get HxH under my belt I'll go for it too

    I've been super sick from a bunch of med adjustments/new meds and it's been all i can do to barely keep up with things

     

    I've never actually read much HxH and I wanna dive into that!

     

    I'm actually really fucking sick of the current JJK arc, I'm ready for something else to happen...

    Loid is out of the picture for this incident, the kids are teaming up as best they can, will they be the ones to save themselves? Or is the bus gonna round a corner and face fuckin' Yor Briar in full assassin mom mode? WILL BOND SOMEHOW SAVE THE DAY? aaaaaaaaa i always just want more and more

     

    the kids doing their best is so good though. The kids are always really well written (even if it's a lot of toilet humor jokes.... that's what kids do lmaooo) I love Becky springing into action!

    i read all the manga but i still dunno what's going on, still here for the ride though

     

    like... i'm like "oh i vaguely recognize that" but not much else, the story was all over the place and there's always a million new terms and shit that i'll never remember

    Chainsaw Man was as wild as the manga and all the hype promised :shiny: I was still a lil skeptical that they'd hold back a bit compared to the manga but uhhhhhhhhh I don't think that's the case now lmao

     

    I was also pleasantly shocked that I was able to watch it within 10 minutes of scheduled release time. Usually the huge site breaking hype eps just crash for hours :rotfl:
