    I'm actually not that surprised that Maryrose is the big reveal for Master Robe. She seemed like the most likely when she and Barbara are so heavily insinuated in the ED song.

    I actually asked a friend because inalmost spoiled S2 premiere of Helluva Boss for his wife.

    It definitely keeps to how it was with the original OVA back in early 90's. Which was only 6 eps. So they're finally getting into the full length of it which I appreciate. But yes. It definitely has its own flavor so to speak. Which was exactly hownthe OVA was with the jokes and hentai moments. So not much has changed there. XD

    This is one of the few things i watched as a young weeaboo and it aged well. 🤣

    I enjoyed it a lot. The fight scenes gave a good classic Jackie Chan feels, dialogue was fun and witty. Soundtrack was top notch and overall it was just a fun movie. Pretty much what I expected out of it from what the trailer showed.

    Dude we're def getting into the juicy background info about Chisato now.

    -The fact that it's not only an artificial heart, but from the sounds of it, one that is higher tech than the DA has ability to make since Takins said so herself....Chisato had no heartbeat, thus it's a different method of pumping Chisato's blood (?) 

    -Which mean the Alan Corp has super high tech secrets.

    -And that Alan has made some kind of pact with Chisato when making and giving her said artificial heart (Alan's Children??? 👀 )

    -Something super big happened in that Tower that, for all we know atm, only Chisato, Alan, and Mika know about.

    Yup. I have friends that are def getting slightly worn with keeping up with the latest Marvel stuff. Especially when a lot of them still have to catch up to what's out because life stuff. 

    I'm fine with stretching out stuff if it means they get more of a break and not as stressed. BUT the masses will pretty much doling out the $$$$$ to see it if they role it out. And that's the bottom line in the end. Idk how the actors who have been a part of this from the beginning haven't gotten burnt out yet like how Hugh Jackman did with Wolverine/Logan.

    It looks very promising. I was on the fence about watching this because I want the crew who put so much work into this to succeed but at the same time Letitia Wright can go screw off. But seeing that she's not going to be given the BP mantel makes me feel relieved in that sense.

    Curious to see this new underwater race that they're hinting at and what new villain we're gonna get and happy to see we get our Tolkein white boy back!

    Watching the first trailer again and then this one, it seems like they made the CGI smoother in movements. Because otherwise I can't see too much difference in the quality right now.
    And I agree with Nelle that I can't help but feel bad for the artists that have been working hard, not just for this but for Ms Marvel and all the other upcoming projects for the next couple of Phases. I don't even wanna think about what kinda deadlines they have.

    Danmachi S4 finally started! Little slow for starters but they do have new adventures to start on! I'm excited!

     

    Call of the Night has been okay but nothing super big to write home to. If something doesn't change by ep 5 i'll put it on the backburner for later.

    Abyss definitely took another dark turn in ep 3. Like legit idk how they keep up such light hearted stuff with the hidden darker stuff so smoothly.

    That whole scene where Kaja is explaining "value" in the Balancing was super creepy. It's going to be interesting to see how the story behind Hollows works out with the people who were in search of the Golden City flashbacks. Which I'm pretty much betting any of the Hollows we've seen with Kaja now is them.


    Overlord continues to be great. Love it.

    I that's the one benefit they have with this being a 25 ep series. It gives them the (hopefully) right amount to going through the story and mysteries of the island withoutnneedingnto rush and get answers.

    Soon as i realized that Shin looped without us seeing him die at the end of the big pep talk speech. I was all, "Oh Fuck difficulty level went to critical"

     

    I'm kinda surprised they convinced Toki-chan to swtich sides even if she did get betrayed by the shadows in the last loop.

     

    Def loved the rest of the backstory with Hizuka. But now i'm wondering why Haine seemed more coherent when she was hanging out with her compared to her being far more childish when we saw her in the cave. So i'm wondering if a piece of her mentality slipped when her eye popped out and escaped. Not to mention mentioning her family, which now i hope it means we get further background on Haine if she was originally Human before on the island.

    Also i tried to give Engage Kiss a try and nope. I couldn't even finish the ep because of the 2 female leads in the fight scene. Animation is great but overall could not get into it.

    I like the new Op for Overlord. Very snappy.

     

    Abyss has gotten spookier......this will be a very interesting season.

    Also, for a reverse isekai.....i didn't think i'd be liking it but Uncle from Another World is hitting alllllll the "I'M THIS OLD" references that i may actually continue watching this. :rotfl:
