Putting the thumbnail in spoiler tags because it spoils something that you wouldn't know if you knew nothing about this movie.
I'll pirate the shit out of this.

1) Star Wars: Jedi - Fallen Order
2) Spelunky (Olmec Run)
Been watching a streamer play some Spelunky 2 got me back into that game, but at some point I wanted to give the first game a try again and see how different it was. Had a real shitty run to start off with, but was able to turn it around in the end. Playing the game again for the first time in a while was tough, I could usually get pretty far, have a decent run, and then some stupid thing would happen and kill me (as is this genre's prerogative). Guess the way to go is to start off bad and get lucky instead of start off great.

Finally got around to seeing Nope. I really liked it. Definitely better than Us, but I didn't like it nearly as much as Get Out. The sound design in this movie is INCREDIBLE.
That scene inside the alien after it eats all those people at Stephen Yuen's show, holy shit that was horrific. The sounds of their screams, even as the alien thing flies around, only to have them suddenly cut off with a crunch was intense.

Just watched the first episode of this last night, and it was pretty good. Natasha Lyonne is the main character who can tell when people are lying to her. One of her friends/coworkers gets killed and she's trying to figure it out, amongst other things. It's got Adrian Brody and Benjamin Bratt in it as well, and I think the entire series is directed by Rian Johnson, the guy that made Knives Out and did The Last Jedi.

6 hours ago, Tassifox said:The characters were super fun. But i felt the sluthing was more fast paced than the first one which probably took out some of the big mystery out.
Yup. Couldn't agree more.

Glass Onion
I didn't like it as much as Knives Out, but the characters made it a fun movie.

Put in my two weeks at work today. Been with FedEx for 23 years, and I'm just over it, so Ifigured it's time to move on.

I never had a Game Boy as a kid, but I have an Analogue Pocket now, so i'm trying to rectify that hole in my history. The physics in this game are so off from every other Mario game, it threw me off the whole time.

Still wish anyone else but Chris Pratt would voice Mario, but this does look quite good.

I really loved this, probably not more than 2018, but it's pretty close. Definitely felt like an epic game. Felt like they may not have had enough story for two more games, so they made a game and a half, and it took me close to 24 hours to beat, all told. That's with very little side quests done, too (I don't think I did more than 3). The final boss battle ranks up there with the best/most epic I've ever played, and I think it may have knocked Wind Waker's final battle down a notch. Curious to see where they go from here, without spoiling anything.

What a long ass movie, I didn't realize it was gonna be near 3 hours long. Felt like it, too. Will type out more thorough thoughts in the morning.
-
I know I read the final arc, but I honestly remember none of it. I don't even know how long ago it came out. Doesn't help that there's over a dozen characters to remember/re-learn BEFORE the Quincies.
-
That Quincy became very Resident Evil-esque by the end there, that was freaky af

I'm tempted to re-read through some (maybe all) of the manga, but that seems like a lot to read, lol.
