    Man, what a disappointment. The story was the only thing that kept me going. The puzzles suck, and it's real easy to get lost, while the holomap doesn't really make it any better. The first game had a similar map situation. Wasn't really a fan of having a sort of open hub world thing. Wasn't bad, just wasn't what I wanted. I called part of the twist before it happened, but they added one thing I didn't see coming.

    When they met, McMahon allegedly made promises of a job at WWE and showered Grant with gifts. During meetings that were supposed to be about the job, he greeted her in his underwear and repeatedly asked for hugs.

    He forcefully used sex toys on her, including dildos he named after WWE wrestlers, causing her bruising and bleeding, the suit said.

    In a May 2020 encounter, McMahon defecated on her head during a threesome, the suit said.

    In the June 2021 encounter inside the WWE office, the suit said McMahon and Laurinaitis forced themselves on her and took turns restraining her for the other, while saying “No means yes” and “Take it, bitch.”

    The suit said McMahon shared the explicit photos with the star [likely Brock Lesnar] and informed Grant that “he likes what he sees.” After the star agreed to a new WWE contract, McMahon texted Grant in August 2021 to say “that part of the deal was fucking U.”

    That December, McMahon gave Grant’s personal cellphone number to the WWE star, the lawsuit said. The wrestler asked her to send a video of herself urinating, the suit said, and after she did, he called her a “bitch.” That same month, the suit said, the star expressed a desire to “set a play date,” but a snowstorm disrupted his travel plans.

    A couple weeks back I did a week of streaming, doing a Metroid "retrospective" going through the 2D games. Started on Monday showing off the first game and it's GBA remake. Tuesday was Metroid 2 on the Game Boy, and the fan remake AM2R. Wednesday was Super Metroid, along with a remixed version of that game that made the physics feel more like the later 2D games (less floaty jumps, mostly). Thursday was Metroid Fusion. Friday was finishing both Metroid Fusion and Super Metroid. My original plan for Friday was to play Metroid Dread, but I don't know where my capture card is, and in order to emulate it I would've needed a hacked Switch to get the BIOS off of, so I figured it wasn't worth the effort.

    I mostly got money, and gift cards to the Vans store. My mom also got me this beautiful silver compact mirror with my name etched onto it, which was super nice and probably my favorite gift. She also got me this microwave-able pillow thing shaped like a corgi. My partner got me some of the aforementioned cards/money, and a black PS5 controller. OH! And a Victoria's Secret gift card which will be...a challenge to use. Last time I had to go into one to look for something for myself I had to psych myself up for 15 minutes beforehand

    I wish i liked this more. I haven't really enjoyed a 2D Mario probably since the first New SMB on the DS. Loved the hell out of Odyssey, even got 100%, but after about 4 worlds into Wonder I just stopped caring. I'm glad they tried something a little more out there, but I just couldn't get into it, and I have zero desire to get 100%.

     

    Also I forgot to post about the Spelunky 2 mod I beat earlier this year, it's at 7a.

     

    Oh, and I've been playing older Metroid games on my Analogue Pocket, so I added the two I've beaten on there as well.

    Man, what a fantastic game. Looking forward to their Wolverine game even more now. I wonder if they'll be part of the same universe?

     

    Getting to play as an unleashed Venom was sick af, now I want to see Insomniac get the Incredible Hulk license, I bet they'd knock it out of the park. Really glad I finished the Flame side missions. I didn't realize until the last mission that they never said what his name was, and then a minute or two later they showed he had a symbiote and it clicked that he may be Cletus Kassady, and sure enough it was an alias he used at one point, so that was pretty neat. Also at the very last post credits scene, when Miles' mom's date knocked on the door, I got a bad feeling that it'd be one of Peter's villains, but was pleasantly surprised to see it was Cindy Moon's dad. I wonder if she'll be playable if they do a third game? Would be interesting to see how her powers differ from Miles' and Peter's.

    Season 2 is off to a pretty great start. Can't believe it's been two years since the first season. Really good to see Loki and Moebius interact again, and Ke Huy Quan fits right in with the rest of 'em.

     

    That whole conversation between OB and Moebius in the present, and between Loki and OB in the past, bouncing back and forth, was a fun time. Curious to see if we'll get to see any other Kang variants at any point. I haven't heard anything about the allegations against Jonathan Majors in a while, so I don't know if that's still a thing, or if it ever was.
