The time off wasn't a big deal, i'm more upset that I missed an important doctor's appointment yesterday because of it. I just wish there were a better way to do it than to just show up in the morning and wait around like an asshole. They do a similar thing here with the group number stuff. I was originally supposed to check on Friday to go in, but they didn't need me then and told me to check again Monday, which is when I found out i'd have to go the next day. I'm also glad I can go back to work tomorrow. As far as I know, work only pays what it'd pay if I were on vacation (4 hours/day) when I work near 6, so I would've lost about 8 hours worth of pay because of it. Now i've only really lost 2 hours.

Had to go in yesterday morning at 7:30AM for jury duty. Sat there for about 4 and a half hours before the "opportunity" to go to another courthouse (closer to me, thankfully) the next day to be put on a trial that could've potentially lasted ten days. Went this morning at about 9:30AM to sit in the jury waiting room until about 11:45AM when they came out and said theyw ere still trying to figure things out in the courtroom and that we were to go on lunch. Came back from lunch and waited another hour and a half only to have the judge come down and explain what was taking so long. Apparently the person on trial decided to take whatever guilty plea they were offering, so we all got sent home. From what the judge said, the person on trial ended up getting 25 years to life in prison, so luckily for me I didn't have to sit through that, as it sounds like it would've taken ages. Overall i'm upset with how much waiting around I had to do for pretty much no reason, but a little part of me is curious what the person was on trial for.

Smackdown

Started up the second quest in Zelda 1, that shit is tough. I finished the first quest just in time apparently, as when I turned the NES on today, my save had been erased. Took the cart down to a local game store and had the battery replaced, so hopefully that won't happen again.

Sure is a lot of cutscenes in this 15 minutes of gameplay. I got bored and gave up.

Just watched the video, looks alright. The start of it with pirate ships being shown had me turned off pretty quick, but by the end of it I was interested. Gonna wait for reviews for sure.

I'm hearing it'll still be at Full Sail for the time being, which is nice I suppose.

Sony and Marvel have not reached new terms, so no more Spider-Man in the MCU, most likely.

Been playing the original Legend of Zelda on my NES. I don't think i've ever beaten it in non-emulated form before. Just got to the final dungeon with all hearts.

One of the things that I think makes NXT special is how little input it seems Vince has. With it being on cable TV every week, he's most likely going to have much more, and that really concerns me.

This game makes no fucking sense, but I am intrigued.

For me it's The Legend of Zelda, hands down. Growing up I was a huge Nintendo fanboy, and would pretty much always have an issue of Nintendo Power with me at my tiny little private school. Funnily enough that's how I started hanging out with someone i've been friends with since the 4th grade. He was hanging out with another mutual friend who referred to me as "the Nintendo Power kid". Tangent aside, Zelda's been the main Nintendo franchise that's stuck with me ever since I was a kid. I still love me some Mario, but (mainline) Zelda games have rarely let me down. A Link To The Past is probably my favorite game of all time, and one I love going back to. I'm even considering getting a Zelda themed tattoo for my first one.

What's on your list of stuff to watch that you haven't gotten around to just yet? For me, i've yet to start season 3 of GLOW, i've seen one episode of the latest season of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., and I haven't watched a single episode of the final season of Jessica Jones.

I doubt this topic will get much traction, as i'm pretty sure no one watches RoH, but apparently Enzo and Cass are officially part of RoH now, going under the name nZo and CazXL respectively.
