They finally decided to close the beaches down here for 4th of July weekend. For a while it seemed like we were going to be the only Beach still open in all of southern California.

I don't know if i'm just not in a wrestling mood today, but i've watched all but the main event from last night's NXT and I couldn't get into any of them. Edit: Sasha/Io was great, though.

Also, thanks everyone. I got off work last night, got ready, and headed to the bf's place, and he surprised me with a present of some candy and New Super Mario Bros. Deluxe for the Switch (so we can play together). We then left to a hotel down in Oceanside (San Diego county, about an hour and change south of where I am) so that today I could show him around the town I lived in (Fallbrook) for two years, and hopefully take him to my favorite Mexican restaurant in town, but we got there and discovered their hours had changed due to the Covid shit happened, and they were closed. We then drove back up to my place and had dinner with my mom. I grilled steaks, and she cooked everything else (corn, mashed potatoes, baked beans, garlic bread). He got to meet her for the first time and things went really well, outside of a few deadnaming/misgendering moments from my mom. We had some pie, she gave me her present (a bunch of junk food, and some birthday money), and then the bf and I went back down to his place where we're going to hang out the rest of the night. All in all it has been a fantastic day, and getting to spend my birthday with a significant other for a change was amazing, and everything I could've hoped for.
