I'm probably most excited about Shaman King here. I never watched the original because I wrote it off as just some cash-in that's way too childish for the age I was. And from what I understand, the anime was pretty much that. Especially the dub. But then I started hearing things about the manga and realizing there was actually a strong, hardcore fanbase, and after seeing/reading some samples, I started getting really curious. Hearing about this remake was pretty perfect for me, so I'm taking this as the chance to dive in and hoping it's more accurate to the manga. Other than MHA and Fruits Basket, nothing else here I really know and not particularly hyped for any, but I'll read all of your comments and determine whether I should give any of them my time.

To be fair, I thought most of what was announced today was like...cool, but not really cool enough to live up to Direct hype. But Project Triangle Strategy has me fucking ecstatic.

Skyward Sword is the shit. I'll hear nothing else. Also, that's a tweet from a friend from another forum who started streaming a year ago. Crazy to see him popular enough that you have come across his tweet one way or another.

Trying to go back and watch old wrestling is so hard for me nowadays. I have enough current product stuff I enjoy that I feel like if I have time to time travel, I have time to stay as current as possible. And I struggle enough with that as it is with school and shit. I've wanted to go back and look at old G1s or follow the career of Jushin Liger or some shit. I did used to have a torrent of all 5-star All Japan matches, and I ordered them in chronological order and got pretty far into that. Such an awesome fucking run. It's also where I realized how much I love Jumbo Tsuruta. That dude's a legend in my heart even if he's outshined by the Four Pillars.

Watch there be a Finale movie to finish the whole thing off. Would be pretty epic tbh

Just watched this the other day. Always love SEW's State of Shonen Jump videos. My jaw dropped when I saw those sales.

I thought the movie was a blast. I got even more joy out of it after hearing the theories that it's actually a sequel to Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. I don't know how much the original creator actually intended that, but when the first few previews for the show were coming out, they actually played an arrangement of Pure Imagination, so someone's at least aware Haven't watched the show myself, yet, but my girlfriend actually just binged through it recently and she loves it. So I'll have to give it a shot soon.

Finale

I vouch for the above. Also, between this and the last episode, shit's been really intense. This is the kind of ramp-up I've been dying for since the last canon arc.

Honestly, depending on how long we have to wait until new episodes come out, I may switch to reading the manga. I've already read a couple random chapters and I dig the art. The first 50-60 episodes are great because it's very fast-paced with some really awesome fights and character moments in between. Past that it can be kind of hit or miss depending on how critical you want to be of the show, but there are still a lot of cool moments that make it all pretty worth it. The current arc seems to be going in an awesome direction so far.

Is the manga coming close to an end, or are they pulling a Hunter x Hunter and ending the series before the manga does?
