Did you ever read Chainsaw Man? It's a big recommend if you haven't. That said, with the anime coming out this year, it might be better to just wait for that. I have a feeling the anime could do some of the action panels more justice than the manga did. It's one of those manga where the black-and-white pallette doesn't always serve the details well.

Never get tired of listening to Headhunters. I have recently been digging into some D'Angelo after someone in one of my music classes had been going on about how good he is. And I have to admit, the man does some cool stuff with vocals harmonies.

I mean, some would argue DC is superior anyway. Not me, but don't sell your nerd cred short yet! I actually enjoyed GoG2 more than most. I thought it was just as good as the first one, with my only real complaint being that it felt they leaned a bit too hard on Drax being comic relief. In the first one, he was this ultra serious character that didn't realize how silly he sounded at times. In the sequel, you could tell they wrote it with the idea of him being the funny one, and it just kind of changed the character for me. Overall, I still really enjoyed it, but I also haven't seen it since I was back in theaters, so opinions could be different on a rewatch.

I think I might go ahead and open up the first chapter of Tokyo Ghoul to remind myself to read it some time soon.

Never read/watched Tokyo Ghoul, but the cover art grabbed my attention, so I'll probably check it out.

I'm still about halfway through my catch up. Binged for a hot minute then took a break as school started ramping up. I think I'm still around episode 23.

Yeah, I don't really have an interest in watching any other Isekai other than Slime Datta Ken. I've been watching through The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya for the first time recently. It is a trip to say the least. Watching in the original order, and just finished the Endless 8. I can't imagine enjoying that arc if you had to wait for it week to week

You shouldn't... ...but I promise I will always have pants on unless requested otherwise. I find it hilarious that Tassi knows not a thing about me IRL, yet she has such good intuition about my natural state.

1) Pokemon Alpha Sapphire (Completed Hoenn Dex) This took about 130 hours. Completed all the major post-game content, caught every Pokemon that could be found in the wild, and grabbed all the legendaries part of the Hoenn dex. Elite Four was pretty easy, but Steven gave me trouble for a few rounds. I had a crop of about 8 Pokemon I trained solidly and regularly used, but my two aces were Sceptile and Ninetales, with a side helping of Sharpedo. I didn't bother with the Battle Resort past getting items I needed for trade evolutions, because that seemed like too much of a time sink. Getting Jirachi turned out to be relatively easy. Getting Groudon without trading my Kyogre was tedious. Required a lot of patience, and I had almost gave up before someone finally responded to a message of mine on gamefaqs and they not only traded me a Groudon, but helped me take care of my trade evolutions. That was dope. Thinking I'm moving on to Bravely Default next.

So many god damn feels, and the fucking visuals!

Why-man becomes a big hook going forward. That thread is a pretty satisfying one to follow even though it takes a few in-between steps. The Treasure Island arc in general is very fun. I felt it took on a bit more of a serious vibe then everything before it. The DB Super manga has been a blast. That arc you're starting on just feels like a fairly different villain, yet classic, while some of the build to it feels a bit more thought out. It feels like the writers care a bit more about making a meaningful plot from the direction Toriyama gives. The new arc that started is pretty sweet so far, so I definitely recommend reading through.

The Pig Latin threw me, too, because I used to read the scanlations and they weren't there. Part of me wonders if it was exclusively a decision by the manga localization that didn't translate when subbing the anime.

Yor really has some of the most endearing and entertaining character quirks. That whole chapter is a really great moment for Loid and Yor. The web of misunderstandings and secrets that unfold around that situation is just hilarious. Also, Anelle the GOAT

That Dodgeball chapter is one of the ones I was thinking about when I was talking about some of the best chapters. But I love when they have the little mini arcs that take place over multiple chapters, like the dog bomber chapters. Also, the extra missions start becoming a lot shorter, which is a shame because they are really fun character development plots. Commencing Dr. Stone hype

I guess since it's airing during this season, I'll post here, but.. I finally finished catching up on Demon Slayer a few weeks ago and am getting ready to go see the movie in theaters

Last night, I decided to order some Spy x Family volumes on a whim to support the manga continuing. All of the volumes are out of stock but expecting more from the site I ordered. I feel like that's a good sign.
