I haven't fully unlocked it yet as I am not far enough into the story, so I can only use it in the scripted sections and not as I please...

Oh you have lots of time in the honeymoon phase still.  I think the most frustrating part is that they threw this into the game and there's basically no exotic armor that does anything special with it and they also didn't update any of the element stuff to take advantage of it either.

It doesn’t make any sense, but the Ontario government has a track record of doing stuff that doesn’t make sense. During the winter lockdown (Boxing Day through to the end of January) ski hills were not allowed to open either. I don’t get it.

The thing that continues to baffle  me is that Doug Ford is a Conservative who is supposed to be all about facilitating business. His big slogan after getting elected was basically, “Ontario: Open for business”. But for the past year he has continually shut down small businesses, closed relatively safe outdoor activities like golf courses, ski hills, camp sites, etc. The little guys , mom ‘n’ pops, are closing shop while Costco, Amazon, Walmart, etc. are probably making a killing. The government claims to be following guidance of the science board, but it just doesn’t add up.

It's weird how badly they're handling this.  It's frustrating because there's clear science showing that this shit is useless and then it's harmful to everyone to just close all this shit down for no real reason.  It's the "just in case" shit I cannot stand because you can't argue against just in case, even when you have facts showing it's fucking stupid. :|

Like...where the fuck are all the "it's science" people now???  It's not a trivial thing to just shut down half the city man.  Come on.

Aight Titan Ice power is fun as fuck

It's definitely fun for a while but I started getting tired of it since none of the Titan powers actually damage anything.  Lol.

  4. They need to just roll every expansion into the base game every time they release a new one because fucking no one is buying the old stuff and they MUST know that.  It's dumb as shit. :P

Also, hello new person. Since you actually kept coming back I figured I'd poke my head in here. XD

You're just displaced AZ crew. :bawling:

At this point, if Marvel manages to make a Fantastic Four movie that is actually outright good, I'll believe them capable of damn near anything. Their recent shows were all better than I expected, so I've got some hope.

They made Guardians of the Galaxy.  I believe in Marvel. :shiny:

  7. There is so much shit coming, it's insane.  I cannot fucking wait. :shiny:

    Spoiler

Yeah they're not even trying to hide that shit. That is definitely the Fantastic Four logo.  I'm getting really impatient for them to join the MCU.  It's kind of a bummer they're coming in so late when Iron Man and Cap are gone but Reed might be able to fill some of the void left by Iron Man at least?  I seriously cannot wait.  I fucking love the FF.

  8. Hello!  Love to see a new face and you actually posted and then came back the next day so we're off to a good start.

    Star Citizen

Say what one will, I've had more excessively memorable multiplayer experiences in this buggy mess of an alpha than in most games I've played.

I started playing this a little with a friend and woof...this game is...complicated as fuck. :rotfl: Also yeah the frame rate is fucking awful most of the time.  I love the concept though.  Fun to see all the insane things they keep adding.  It feels like this game has been in development basically forever. :P

  9. Shit didn't realize this was starting already.  I kinda fucked around and didn't finish my season pass stuff up to level 100 yet.  I'm sure it's too late now.  I wish they'd give you a way to continue those things even after the season is over. :-/

  10. It was not really good or bad.  It was fine.  I didn't hate it.  Had some fun with it.  It was about what I was expecting.  Probably not something that'll ever be a cult classic like the original which is bad but charming.  There could be some fun in the sequels.  Nothing could really be worse than Annihilation.

Cole was fairly boring.  I'm excited though that they're teasing

    Spoiler

Johnny Cage.  Kano did a good job of being the comic relief but you know....he's not gonna be there lol.

Felt like the story with Scorpion was kinda cool.  Curious if they're going to expand on Sub Zero as well maybe next movie?  They never really go into WHY they hate each other so much specifically.  Just vagueries you get from not very good writing. :P

That's pretty much how I'm going into it as well. It'll be on HBOMax anyway, so no reason for me to not watch it at that point. XD

Pretty much this.  I watched the Snyder Cut so this should be better than that at least. :rotfl:

  12. Some of these anti COVID measures have gotten stupid tbh.  They've studied how the virus propagates and know all kinds of shit yet continue to try to do completely stupid ass shit like close things like parks.  How the fuck are you gonna get covid at the park?  Mouth kissing strangers?  It's not a fucking concert venue where you're all slammed in together.  Use your fucking heads.  "Better safe than sorry" isn't a policy you can keep following after a year of information has come out about what to do lol.  Shit like this just causes people to start opposing the shit that actually does make sense because they've rightly surmised that you're an idiot.

I saw in Michigan they want to make the emergency orders permanent (what?) and that they still have shit like forcing places to do extra cleaning even though we've pretty much learned that surface spread is a complete non-factor.  It's shit like that where I get really frustrated because I've been careful but I try to actually pay attention to the shit that matters, you know?

  13. I could not be more excited for this show.  This trailer was fucking phenomenal and I'm just...god it's good.  They're showing us their multiverse and Loki is a time cop.  I was never totally sure the day would come where they'd just do this all the way and I could not be more excited. :shiny:

  14. Last episode was fucking great.  We all knew it was coming because the dude is off (and the comic character is a psycho) but it was still so well done.  The whole differences between him and Steve is very interesting to watch as well.

I also fucking love everything about the relationship between Bucky and Sam.  You can see them bonding more and more over time and it's nice.

Bucky losing his arm and that reaction was fucking hilarious.

Bucky and Falcon seem to kind of half-ass everything in this show. They never have a plan and they just blunder through everything. Doesn’t help the writers seem to like to add jokes when they’re blundering through everything. Which, if this was Spidey or Ant-Man that would fit but with characters like Falcon, Zemo and WS it feels off.

It’s surprisingly not well written in many areas. Consistency is kind of Marvel’s thing at this point. Unless things really shape up this will be one of Marvel’s biggest misses.

Edit: Also this should easily be a home run. Bucky is a great character in general. The stuff with the old Asian man is gold. And with Falcon, a black man, not feeling like he deserves the shield and then the gov tricking him into donating it just to give it to the most milk toast guy ever. There is a lot of good stuff here structurally. This show should be better

Hot take.  Don't agree with pretty much any of this and I feel like we're watching different shows.  Bucky and Sam have definitely never been overly serious people so I'm not sure why the jokes are a complaint (he and Steve used to joke around all the time...both of them lol).  The part about "never having a plan" isn't particularly true in every case and in some others, what plan are they going to have?  They're investigating things.  Bucky has always relied on his skills basically to get him through everything and Sam does try to plan shit but sometimes Bucky would push it (that is the difference between their characters).  I feel like as I read this you just don't like it for some reason and are looking for reasons to justify it.  Which, I mean I don't really get why you don't like it so whatever but these complaints I'm definitely not seeing.  Definitely agree with all the comments in the edit though.  Those things really flesh out their characters and it's really fucking nice.

I'm getting into this series a bit more. I feel like this is where they're stacking a majority of the world building to show the disparities of life before/during/after the "Blip" and it was really needed. I was never expecting this to be on caliber with some of the other announced shows, and that's fine. I'm just glad it's starting to feel like it's starting to gain a solid identity.

Also this.  Definitely this.  I like seeing these other things peel back what happened and that Marvel isn't just totally glossing over the blip like it was no big deal.

Overall definitely enjoying the show.  It isn't the same as WandaVision but I don't think it makes this show less, it's just a more normal Marvel show.  They were doing entirely different things.  Trying to compare it to WandaVision is silly for both shows.  They're like entirely different genres that happen to contain superheroes.

she heard it had super scary side effects

This shit is never going to die is it?  I feel like my entire life there are always people that have to be contrarians and everything is a plot or "they heard" what the REAL story is or whatever and it's like...please just...stop okay.  Be normal.  LISTEN TO ME. :rotfl:

I still feel guilty about it, but they had doses they needed to use and we were eligible so we took it.

Yeah definitely don't feel guilty.  Chances are they'd have thrown that shit out.  That's why I got mine.  They had twice as many doses as appointments and started calling in everyone.  Went right at the end of the day.  As long as SOMEONE gets it, that's what matters.

I'd love Zemo to be an anti-hero type.

Don't agree that it's a straightforward show. Feels like it's spinning a LOT of plates right now. Although having longer episodes definitely helps.

I said more straightforward than WandaVision.  That shit was abstract as fuck. :P

Well this was sad to see this morning. It's stuff like this why the kid who played Geoffrey in GoT quit acting because of how much fans hated him. Why people gotta suck?

    FB_IMG_1617545818370.jpg

This can't really be a significant number of people but why the fuck does this happen with everything?  Also how are people so stupid that they didn't understand this from the beginning? :P
