Has anyone else read To Your Eternity? Just bought and read the first volume. Was really impressed. A unique story that is deftly told. Reminded me a lot of Fire Punch. By the author of A Silent Voice.

I’ve never been a fan of the anime but I think the manga is great. Most recently I read through Claymore. I started this series a long long time ago back when it was in serialization but got bored waiting for chapters. Reading through it I really liked the first half but think the second half really dipped in quality.l of the writing. I’m also not a huge fan of how it went sci-fi part of the way through.

There are so many series I need to get up to speed on. I’m loving the Jump app though, very affordable and the interface is nice. Just got caught up on Black Clover. It’s a solid battle series but doesn’t really do anything groundbreaking. Really solid art.

Hi! A bit of a late update on my One Piece journey. I’ve stalled out 😅 I’ve made it where the crew goes to Big Momma’s cake land. I’m still really enjoying it but I just got a bit burnt and needed a change of pace.

At chapter 515 of my One Piece journey. Luffy just arrived at Amazon Lily. It’s amazing. Maybe starting to dip a bit but we will see. Really Arlong through Enies lobby is just amazing. I didn’t remember how good the world building is. There are so many mysteries I’m invested in. When I read before I stopped reading shortly after the time skip so I’m going to be in uncharted waters soon enough which is exciting. My opinions seems to be pretty similar to common thoughts. It’s a tear jerker of a series with a great cast, comedy and world building but the fights could be better. Excited to keep trucking on.

That’s good to know. I was never a huge fan of Soul Eater either. Started reading One Piece over. Only my second time reading through. About 100 chapter in, around when the Baroque Works shows up. It’s really amazing how fun and funny it is. I’m really curious of when and if it begins to sour for me.

Been reading Four Knights of the Apocalypse. Loving it so far. Still very fresh and fun at this point. Reminds me of what the beginning of Sins was like.

Do they have manga with Crunchyroll? Honestly Comixology is pretty solid. Most things are pretty affordable and they have big sales every now and then.

Has anyone been reading scanlations recently? I know Manga Stream went down recently and I think another big one. People are basically saying the scan community is dead. I haven’t read scans in a while so wondering if someone else has more info. I started reading Witch Hat Atelier. This series is awesome. A must read for manga fans of the shonen/shojo variety.

I use Comixology primarily these days. I basically don’t read anything week to week like I used to. For scanlations Manga Stream always seemed like really the only ethical choice, but you already need to be caught up as they only have the current 5 or so chapters available for each of the series they do. I haven’t read a Junji Ito work in a while. I should check those out. Anyone else reading Platinum End?

I read the first 5 or so chapters of it. I thought it was alright. I think Promised Neverland is a lot higher quality. I’ve been reading Radiant lately. Actually written and illustrated by a French guy but it’s a shonen through and through. The only other thing I’ve poked at recently is Eden Zero. Definitely reminds me of what I liked about Fairy Tail before they added a thousand characters and the stories got bad.
