I think the Jays and Mariners will both make the playoffs, but at least this time they won't face each other in the first round. I believe the Rangers will be the odd team out. So you'll have the O's, Rays, Blue Jays, Twins, Astros, and Mariners for the AL with the Braves, Phillies, Brewers, Cubs, Dodgers and I'm unsure about the 6th spot. I want to give it to the Giants. Regardless, I think the Braves win the whole thing, they are really good.

Well the AL West is now a three team race. Jays will need to keep up in order to keep a Wild Card spot.
-
Ohtani is done pitching for the season, but the man is still going to DH. I mean Angels are pretty much out of it, should just shut him down the rest of the season.
-
So actually those games against the Rangers and Astros are looking like the could be very important, since it will end up putting the Division on the line. The finish for the AL West could be very interesting. Also Julio Rodrigues is finding a groove at the right time. @ Yankees

The M's schedule is pretty rough at the end of the Season. Granted there is a 3 game series with the A's in there, but 13 of the last 16 games are against the Dodgers, Rangers and Astros. I'd rather take the 12 games the Jays have against the Rays and Yankees.
-
Well looks like Ohtani and the Angels won't make the playoffs, they need a lot of teams to start collapsing. Also they would also need to start winning... A shame the Mariners been playing pretty good, but have made no ground in the West...but they are closing in on the Jays for that 3rd Wild Card Spot.
-
Seattle is only 5.5 from the Rangers and 4.5 for the Wild Card. You figured by this time someone other than Atlanta would have put up some kind of decent lead. I think Toronto will pass Tampa by the end of August, don't think they catch Baltimore though.
-
Ohtani is just incredible, goes out and throws a 1 hitter for game 1 and hits 2 HR's in game 2 today. I don't like the Angels, but I wouldn't mind them in the playoffs just to see how he does.
-
O's take over first place. The injuries to the Rays pitching rotation is taking it's toll.
-
Interesting that the Braves and Rays have a series to end the first half of the season. Also, the Blue Jays can't beat the Red Sox...if the Jays get close to the playoffs at the end currently being 0-7 against Boston doesn't help.

11 years after the previous Perfect Game. Kind of crazy to remember there was 6 between 2009 and 2012. Who has been the biggest disappointment so far this season between the Mets and Padres? Consider you know both have made lots of moves.
-
At least the NL Central is trying, the Reds and Cubs are playing well. While the AL Central might have a playoff team with a losing record. I think it will be interesting to see who the team that gets hot towards the end of September.
-
Yea, I expected the O's to continue success like they had last year, but not be this good. As for other division yea the D-backs are a surprise, want to see if they can keep it up going late in to the season. The Angels need Trout to breakout of his slump, but my god Ohtani has just been fire as of late.
-
So, I don't think Seattle will be in post season contention. Rangers and Astros are better teams and well you know about the East, but the Blue Jays and Red Sox are slipping. It'd be nice to be in the Central right?
-
You mentioned what's going on with the Cardinals and like that they sweep the Red Sox, take the series against the Brewers and pound the crap out of the Dodgers last night. Seems like they're fine.
-
I mean at least the are winning series against bad teams. The pitching is fine, but the offense could end up being a problem. It's a shame that with the way the scheduling is done now we only play the A's 13 times instead of 19-20. So uh you okay up there? Maple Leafs you know finally winning a playoff series, but then losing like they did to Florida. I mean to be fair the Panthers also beat Boston.
-
AL East is pretty stacked huh? Yankees in last place, would be in first in both Central divisions.
-
Remember when Seattle had a winning record, but a negative run differential because they won so many close games. This is the pay back for that season isn't it? They lose a bunch of close games?
-
Blue Jays up next to try and give the Rays their first loss.
-
*edits title* So, 8 games in and the Rays already have a +46 run differential.
-
Correa back to the Twins now...I don't know if he stays healthy for a full season.
-
Well, Correa going to the Mets instead of Giants now? Wonder how the Mets will choke it away next year. Wait, will the Mets have a bigger payroll than the Yankees now?
-
Rangers throwing more money at Free Agency. Signed DeGrom. They better hope he can stay healthy.

No-hitter in the world series. Javier shut down the Yankees and the Phillies this postseason.
