  1. Jeez, maybe the Mariners should just walk Salvador Perez, 4 Home Runs and 11 RBI in the series.
  2. See why I was worried about playing the Astro's? Lost 12-3 and then 15-1. I don't think either of our Teams will make it. Yankees will probably lock the first spot (assuming they don't take the division) and the Red Sox and A's will fight for that 2nd spot.
  3. Yea I was coming to post about that. Forget losing to the Mariners, but losing to a unloaded Nationals team is uhh no what you want to be doing. Yankees have taken over the Wild Card spot. The A's and Red Sox been losing. Good thing for the Mariners who still have 3 games against the Red Sox and 9 against the A's. The bad part is having 9 games against the Astro's still.
  4. Even when he was hitting all those home runs he was also striking out a lot. You know if the Blue Jays want to make the Playoffs, they shouldn't be losing to the Mariners. I'm also starting to worry that the Padres won't make the playoffs. It's going to look really bad if they get swept by the Diamondbacks. The Reds and a few other teams are starting to creep up on that 2nd Wild Card Spot.
  5. Well the Mariners lost, but to the Yankees. So the Jays passed the M's, but not gain any ground on the Yankees or A's. However, it's nice to see Boston slipping. BTW, if the Rockies only played at Coors Field they might be a playoff team. I don't think I ever seen a team so good at home, but so bad on the road.
  6. Hey, if the Mariners win tonight they did the Jays a favor by taking all 7 games from the Rays this year.
  7. This has been one of the wildest trade deadlines I've seen in a long time. I think Kyle Hendricks is the only player left on the Cubs I know. Well with Berrios, hopefully they can slow down the bats the Red Sox and Yankees picked up.
  8. Looks like the Dodgers are going to take Scherzer away from the Padres, but also pick up Trea Turner from the Nationals as well. Yankees and Red Sox made some pretty big moves.
  9. Lot of names swirling around before the trade deadline.
  10. Nope the Jays only took one from the Mariners. However Rays and Athletics keep losing so no ground was lost for them. It's crazy sometimes to see teams go in opposite directions. The Cubs and Brewers were tied for first a week and half ago, now the Cubs are 7.5 (looking to be 8.5) out of first now.
  11. It would be nice if the Astro's could lose... I mean I still expect the Mariners to trade Haniger, but will they if the stay relatively close to the Wild Card?
  12. I mean they might, 6 wins since May 1st. Might rival the 2003 Tigers. Mariners going for the sweep against the Rays today. Which means they'll probably lose both games to the Rockies after this. The new Foreign Substance policy starts tomorrow.
  13. How long do you think this losing streak for Arizona last?
  14. Blue Jays need to take advantage of their soft schedule coming up. Actually, I'm looking forward to the Ray's series with the White Sox coming up.
  15. Yankees being swept by the Tigers.
  16. Did you see how the Pirates forgot about the basics of baseball?
  17. Uhh, my bad I probably shouldn't have talked about the Blue Jays. I mean at least they didn't get swept by Detroit.
  18. Look at the Jays in 2nd place, that's going to be a tough division to hang around in.
  19. I should stop taking about teams. KC has lost 10 straight since I mentioned them. Mariners are calling up Gilbert and Kelenic, maybe it will give them a little spark.
  20. If it wasn't for a Wild Pitch John Means would of had a Perfect Game against Seattle.
  21. How about the Royals leading the AL Central?
  22. Dustin May is now out for the season, I may have jinxed them...
  23. Yea, maybe they can hang. No separation in the division yet, but the A's are rolling now. 11 straight wins.
  24. Well now since we actually have a full season, do you think the Dodgers set a season record for wins?
  25. Seattle will be bad this year, so let's go Padres.
