I didn't actually watch the awards themselves. With Keighly running it and Kojima getting a ton of nominations, it kind of soured me on the whole thing this year. I did see the Muppets thing though, damn them for teasing me with Untitled Beaker Game! I want that to be a thing so bad.

Tony Hawk 1 and 2 remasters are coming soon Hopefully it's better than the last few times they tried doing this series right. It sounds like they're using the original Neversoft code as a base, so that is a strong start.

Accusations of foul play surface around recent ground breaking retro game auctions. I've been hearing about this in the gaming podcasts I listen to, and people are saying it's sounding like a money laundering scheme, which wouldn't really surprise me. Super Mario 64 recently sold for 1.56 million dollars, which I think is way far off from what that game should cost, as I imagine it isn't all that rare.
