I picked up Cytus α today. Only played it a bit but it looks like their are a tonne of songs, so there should be some good stuff in there. I'm pleased to see there's a DJMax section (I wish we could get DJMax Respect on Switch...)

Depending on the price, I'm interested in Little Town Hero

Yeah I grabbed that SNES app right after I got home from work. Was about to start schooling the 8 year old on Mario Kart when the baby interrupted us

I was curious about Project Triangle Strategy for a hot minute but then I realized strategy == SRPG ( duh ) and immediately got turned off. I've tried several times to get into SRPGs but have never enjoyed one enough to actually finish the game. I love Mario Golf and Mario Tennis games, so I'd totally play Mario Golf Super Rush... but -- as much as I like these games -- I'm not willing to pay 79.99 plus tax of my hard-earned Canadian funbucks for Mario Golf or Tennis. I still haven't found a good enough deal on Mario Tennis Aces and that's been out nearly 3 years now... Knockout City sounds pretty darn fun. Doubt I'll ever get it, but I think a younger version of me would have played this a ton. Might be interested in Ninja Gaiden someday for the right price. When I saw the headline I had assumed it was a collection of the NES classics, which I like but I can't beat without save states I forgot that they made more Ninja Gaiden games later on. Were those games any good..? Zero interest in anything Zelda from me

Any of you PC gamers play Torchlight II before? Is it any good? Caught my eye on the eShop.

I might check that out (someday (when it goes on sale (could be a long time because Nintendo games take forever to get cheap)))

Anybody here interested in Triangle Strategy? Played the demo? Thoughts? Curious to know what other people think about it. I've yet to find an SRPG that I really enjoy, but for some reason I keep wanting to find one that I will like... I haven't tried the demo yet, but I've been toying with the idea trying it out. Even if the demo blows me away, I'm certainly not buying an SRPG for full price on release, but I might Wishlist it and watch out for a good sale later on. If it doesn't sell well then it won't be long before a good deal will be available.

Wait for some people to beat it and then read a plot summary / FAQ That's why I started borrowing games from our local library instead of buying them.

It was a pretty good run for the 3DS, and it ended up sticking around a bit longer than most would have thought after the Switch was released.

I’m not really waiting for anything. Just plain happy with what I’ve got. I hope there are people out there that are hyped for the thing though. Maybe that new screen is really nice.

I am also a sucker for a game that just plain looks and feels good. Even if this game has its shortcomings, I'll probably be able to overlook them because i) Doraemon is great and ii) it looks fantastic.

After years of only having a 3DS and Vita, it has not been easy adjusting to Switch game prices. There are very few games that I'm willing to pay $80 for.

Still only works out to like $3 / month per person if you and yer partner are splitting the cost of one year of the family plan. N64 and Genesis games aren't the greatest selling point to justify the price increase--it would be nice if they were adding more to make the higher price more palatable--but I'm still not convinced that it's an unreasonable price point, all things considered.

I like lower prices too of course, but I think they were leaving money on the table at $20 / year. It was bound to go up eventually. I get why some folks will be unhappy to see a big increase all at once, but it still only works out to a little over $4 / month at the new price for an individual. I don't think Nintendo is gouging people

I like the action elements of most Zelda games, but puzzle-heavy dungeons are a drag. That's what the FAQ is for.

We certainly didn't plan it that way! But we're actually scaling back xmas and bday stuff this year anyway. Neither of my kids plays much with toys, so lots of gifts are just left to collect dust after they're opened. The big one likes to draw, read, and sometimes play video games. When she has free time, all she wants to do is draw or write stories on her Chromebook. The little one loves books too. It's basically books and new clothes this year, and maybe a Switch game. Seems kinda lame to me, but they're not going to mind.

Yeah, it's a bummer that they're not adding more perks. Looking at the Nintendo website, you can still buy the regular Switch Online family package for $35 / year. Switch Online + Expansion Pack is 'Coming Soon'... so I guess now's the time for people to lock in another year of the old plan before the changes take effect..?

A while back I was planning to get one of the USB adaptor thingys to use a DS4 controller with my Switch, but I got rid of my DS4 when I sold my PSTV (RIP my Vita/PSTV stuff ) so that was no longer an option. For the most part I'm okay just using the joy cons, but there are times when the asymmetrical design of Switch controllers really bugs me. I like it better when the analog sticks are directly across from each other. When I saw this controller in Best Buy the other day it caught my eye. So far so good. I like it.

Thoughts? How does it feel vs. the regular Switch? Lighter? More comfortable? Is the screen good? etc.
