First chapter of Choujin X is on the Shonen Jump app -- new manga from Sui Ishida. I never read the Tokyo Ghoul manga because I watched the anime, though IIRC there were differences so maybe I should go back and read that manga eventually... but I did read Ishida's HxH one-shot, Hisoka's origin story, and I thought it was really good. I like Ishida's style.

DB Super #102 — We’re officially past the events of the Super Hero movie now. It hasn’t launched into a new story arc yet but I assume it will eventually. This was a fun “let’s see who’s stronger now” sparring chapter which is going to carry into at least one more chapter. I liked it.

New Choujin X chapter (25) was solid. I am having some struggles remembering what’s going on from chapter to chapter because of the longer gaps between them… but it usually comes back to me after a few pages. Even when it doesn’t, I still enjoy it

The new Candy Flurry and Elusive Samurai chapters were solid. I’m looking forward to the upcoming showdowns in each next week! Dr. Stone is progressing pretty quickly.

I haven't yet but maybe I will. A few other titles I forgot to touch on in my last post: Choujin X has had some more somewhat regular releases lately and I have still been enjoying it. at this week's chapter of Chainsaw Man. That was super random

I really enjoyed that chapter too. Spy x Family does that kind of side-story stuff really well. I felt like this chapter regained some of the charm that the series is so well known for.

Polished off Diamond is Unbreakable today. Very solid overall. I enjoyed it. I guess it still more or less follows the "and here's another stand user!" formula that I didn't like at times in Stardust Crusaders... I just tended to like the new characters and stands in Diamond is Unbreakable better than the ones in Stardust Crusaders. Now I'll give JJBA a little break, but I do look forward to starting on Golden Wind eventually. I'll take my first look at Martial Master Asumi tonight as my bed-time story

Yeah it's fun watching this group of characters come together and I am intrigued about what's up with the villains. Unrelated: I read Burn the Witch this week. I dunno why, just something to do I guess. It had some amusing and interesting elements, but that's about it. Apparently it is following a seasonal release schedule, so I think we're due soon for another mini-series of chapters, continuing from chapter #4. The first 'season' was August-September 2020... though I guess those chapters came closer to 2 years after the original one-shot.. so maybe the next run won't be as soon as I'm assuming. Whenever a new chapter pops up in the Jump app, I'll check it out.

You should continue with Sakamoto Days. It’s pretty great overall. Dr. Stone PPPPPP was really good this week. Don’t really have much specific to say about it, but… Furusu’s great Ayashimon #14

I like the art style of Hunters Guild, and some elements are interesting, but it’s been hard to follow. I actually enjoyed some of the most recent revelations (the book, the guild’s role as caretakers of the book, etc.) but yeah these things feel like discoveries that would be made near the end of the story. Oh well, if Candy Flurry wasn’t good enough to keep going then Hunters Guild isn’t either Wrap it up.

Lots of good stuff this week The Elusive Samurai Fabricant 100 Akane-banashi I am feeling pretty lost in Ichinose Family right now A bit reminiscent of PPPPPP in that regard. Eventually I assume it will all make sense. And I think I am even more lost in Jujutsu Kaisen. Gonna need to read a plot summary when the Culling Game arc ends New chapters of Gokurakugai and Show-ha Shoten! hit today too. I will read them tonight.

I have added Martial Master Asumi to my list..! Hopefully I can start reading it this weekend. I'm only about 30ish chapters away from finishing JJBA Diamond is Unbreakable, so I've been pretty focused on that. I am enjoying Diamond is Unbreakable more than I did Stardust Crusaders. Good stuff.

I noticed Chainsaw Man while browsing in the Jump app but haven’t started reading it yet. I’ll check it out this week. 96 chapters won’t take long to read through if I keep waking up in the middle of the night every night... I also started reading The Elusive Samurai last night. Only about 3 chapters in, so I don’t know all about it yet, but it’s interesting enough to keep reading. I like a good underdog story.

Quintuple posting... @Anelle and @Psycho666Soldier where'd you go? I am current on Jujutsu Kaisen now. I am not enjoying the current arc (The Culling Game) quite as much as the previous one, which I thought was fantastic (The Shibuya Incident), but it's still been pretty solid anyways. Still thrilled that HxH is back in my life. Also still worried that this arc is so big that Togashi may never finish it There is so much going on.
