    I'm kinda torn about the Rockets/Warriors series. On one hand it would be interesting to see the Warriors get knocked out... but the Rockets' brand of basketball just plain isn't fun to watch. I can't cheer for them. I think the best outcome from this Finals would be for Golden State to win and then the players decide to go their separate ways (KD and Klay leaving in free agency). I have Warriors super team fatigue.

    Really ugly Game 3 at Philly. I'm pretty much convinced the Raps are fucked now. There are reports today that Siakam is doubtful for Game 4. I hate sprots.

    I'm struggling to remember the story on Ango... I'm sure I recall really enjoying the 2nd season of this show, but I can hardly remember a thing about what actually happened in those episodes :lol:

    I sometimes think about Fire Emblem, but every time I think I should take another crack at an SRPG it doesn't seem to end well; I did totally have SMT on my to-check-out list for a long time and just never got round to it. Oh well.

    Same! ...I'm one of the minority who really liked the GameCube one too, even though it took such a different approach (it didn't get all the gameplay right but it was so sweet and atmospheric).  Though those two came out at around the same time, I think...the games have been more confused since then. I do have the 1st Story of Seasons on 3DS but I don't think I really got into it for some reason. I'm a sucker for aesthetics, though, and this one looks great. :)

     

    I am also a sucker for a game that just plain looks and feels good. Even if this game has its shortcomings, I'll probably be able to overlook them because i) Doraemon is great and ii) it looks fantastic.

    Apparently Doraemon: Story of Seasons (???) is coming to Nintendo Switch in Autumn? :spineyes: (how did I not know this was a thing? :lol: ) And in English!
    Not sure what to make of it, but gosh the art is pretty. :love2: The watercolour effect of the landscape looks so convincing!

     

    The dilemma will be whether to get this or to wait for a non-Doraemon Story of Seasons down the line.


     

     

     

    I haven't really enjoyed one of these games since Friends of Mineral Town (wow that's a long time ago now) but I can see myself getting into this one. I think my 8 year old would like it too.

    The Blue Jackets have been really hot since February basically, and it's been quite the run since the last couple weeks of the season through their sweep of Tampa. I think there's an argument to be made that they are the favourites to win the Cup at this point.

    1st Round was for the most part a dud but there are some great 2nd Round match ups coming our way :nod:

     

    I think Toronto has a pretty good shot at a Finals appearance, though it won't be easy from here on out.

     

    Warriors/Rockets in Round 2 might be a better series than whatever the Finals match is.

    Jays, Leafs, and Raps all have games starting right now!

     

    The Raptors should win, it hasn't even been close between them and the Magic the last three games. Bring on the 76ers :evillaugh:

     

    The Leafs have a chance to finally overcome the Bruins playoffs curse, but another Game 7 in Boston is terrifying even if the Leafs are probably actually the better team. Please don't be an overtime heartbreaker :uhoh:  

     

    The Jays get an honourable mention because Pillar is returning to Toronto with the Giants. I never even really liked him, but you can't argue with the fact that he was an important part of the '15 and '16 teams / postseason runs.

    I was curious about Dororo but don't have Amazon Prime so I just moved along because I was too lazy to download from HorribleSubs. Is it worth checking out? What would you compare it to?

    Got Captain Toad this weekend, definitely a charming and fun little game
