Yeah I'm enjoying all of the shows you listed there a lot as well. Haven't watched this week's episode of Wonder Egg Priority yet, probably gonna get to that tonight.

Getting back into Cosmic Star Heroine after I got lazy a long time ago. Took me a stupid long time this morning to figure out what to do next from where I left off, but now I'm back on track I enjoyed Chasm so much. Gonna have to keep my eye out for deals on similar games on the eShop.

1) Taiko??? no Tatsujin Rhythmic Adventure Pack #1 2) Final ?Fantasy?? ???V 3) Chasm I really enjoyed this one! Couldn't put it down since I downloaded it last week. If it's still on sale, it's definitely worth the $10 (CAD) it was going for. My completion time was 8:18:05 and I apparently rescued 100% of the NPCs and explored 99.9% of the game. Not exactly sure what tiny thing I missed. Not a super long game, but just right for me.

I've also been playing a lot of NBA 2K Playgrounds 2 this week. The games are short and fun. I'll never unlock all the players unless I pay for it (not happening!) but I am trying to get a few more of my favourites.

Grabbed Chasm from the eShop since it's on sale, I'm about 90 minutes into it and having fun. Seems like a fairly basic Metroidvania sort of thing. I like.

I guess that depends on what Price has left in the tank. They've also got Urias who had potential to be quite good I think. Bauer's career numbers are remarkably similar to that of Tanner Roark, just one or two good seasons and the rest OK/mediocre. I doubt he'll be as good this summer as he appeared to be last summer but only time will tell.

Today is Opening Day, let's get ready to play ball! Since all the sports went away in March, I almost completely stopped caring about or consuming sports media. Haven't listened to a podcast or read a blog post; I think I've only used my Athletic account like two or three times in the last 3-4 months. And I'm definitely not sitting around at home watching archived games, old highlights, etc. But this morning I read a primer on the Jays' roster for this summer, and all of a sudden I'm feeling kinda excited and hopeful to see what these kids can do. I guess tomorrow I will officially end my sports diet to start watching Jays games. Who else is going to be watching Opening Day? Did you check out the Opening Night games last night? What teams / players are you looking forward to seeing this summer?

Happy birthday!

Bauer going to the Dodgers Earlier in the winter people tried to link him to the Jays... I don't want my favourite team to have anything to do with this guy. Phew. Forget the off-the-field stuff, I'm not convinced he's that good of a pitcher.

When I watch Promised Neverland it sometimes makes me think of the Walking Dead. I feel like there are some parallels there. Add the disconnect between the show and the source material to the list of similarities. (I'm about 4 years behind and probably won't ever catch up on TWD though so maybe I'm way off)

Fun episodes of Neverland and Dr. Stone this week. I liked the little time skip in Neverland. It's cool to see the demon town and of course the surprise at the end was great.

I solid my Vita and PS TV ( ) well over a year ago so my wrap-up would be a big zero Gonna go look at my Switch year in review now though... (if I can find it / if it's still there)

Sunday evening when I ran out of booze, I gave a second thought to the whole dry January idea. Sure it was already Jan. 4th, but whatever. Going dry for 27/31 days would still be quite the achievement. Also it was after 6pm and liquor stores closer early on Sundays I was doing quite well this week but when I got home from work today my darling wife said she'd but me a bottle of wine. She's real nice like that It would be inappropriate to say no, right? I gotta be a good husband here. So my first crack at dry January has ended after 4 days. Maybe I'll see if I can double that the next time I run out What are you trying and failing at so far in 2021?
-
My Dry January in a nutshell All January there were TV ads for Dry Feb so I have been convinced to give dryness another shot. I didn't officially sign up for Dry Feb 'cause I cannot be bothered to do fundraising, but the goal is to be dry all February. I may have to give myself one cheat day though because T?t is next week and you can't celebrate T?t without some good rice wine (or a nice bottle of vodka since I can't get the good stuff in Canada).

I haven't been following the Leafs but I guess they're doing OK because my Leafs-fan-friends aren't crying everyday Just took a quick look at the standings and despite being in second place it doesn't look they're scoring a ton (eg compared to Edmonton, Vancouver, and Montreal). I kinda thought they were supposed to be a more powerful offensive team. Their goal differential is positive and they're winning games though. My Jets are right behind them

I'm kinda interested to get into Black Clover now. Not really sure why I didn't in the first place. It's nice to know I've got time now to watch the first 170 episodes before it eventually comes back. Or I may just read the manga
-
I don't follow Black Clover but my understanding is that the anime people want to go to more of a seasonal approach (think Attack on Titan). Right now I think they're too close to catching up to the manga, so if the anime just keeps going on then they run out of source material. I don't think it's because the manga is ending imminently. Hunter × Hunter Hiatus × Hiatus is a bit of a special case because of how unreliable Togashi is. Just have a look at this chart: https://hiatus-hiatus.github.io/ There are a whole lot of missed weeks (red blocks) since 2006. We're on the longest stretch of hiatus ever right now

Bad goalies on the Canucks or just randomness? also: Ottawa at the bottom of the North division standings at 1-8-1 -- you love to see it

Wow I get that the anti-vaccine people don't want vaccines for themselves but why try to stop other people from getting them..? I noticed when I moved back to Canada after several years in Asia, we Westerners spend far too much time getting upset over things other people do that aren't really our business. Why can't people just do their thing and let other people do theirs... -

That doesn't sound too bad then. I used to hate getting shots, but now I'm two years into allergy immunotherapy (for terrible summertime grass allergies) so I get shots at least monthly, sometimes weekly. Needles don't bug me as much anymore. When I started AIT my arm would swell up pretty big for a few days (it looked ridiculous) and would be so itchy. Now I just get a small lump and mild itchiness for a day or two. The annual flu shot, when I remember to get it, doesn't usually give me side effects. -

That's cool news! How's it feel a day later?
