I'll be happy to see a last minute, surprise announcement of one more (longer format) episode / special / movie for the finale. I don't really want to have to wait multiple weeks in that scenario to see the ending animated, but if we see the story's ending in the anime before the manga then that would be a bigger letdown. Kinda weird how this is playing out, but I'm sure it's all been planned out between Isayama and his publisher and the anime people... Wait and see, I guess!

Unlike Promised Neverland, which has taken a bit of a bad turn recently IMO, I mostly like the direction that Isayama has taken for SnK... I guess I'll spoiler this just to be safe... * * * Just read chapter 137, didn't realize it released a couple weeks ago... feels like we're very close to the end now! 137 would be the 3rd chapter of the next (final?) volume. The majority of the volumes have 4 chapters, so it feels like chapter 138 should be the final one. By the time 138 releases, the anime will be nearing the final episodes as well.

Kemono -- That was pretty fucked up, poor Shiki

I gave up on Transistor. Really wasn't enjoying the gameplay, it didn't grow on me and I definitely didn't get better at it I feel like playing something else, maybe a small-ish RPG, but nothing on sale on the eShop is inspiring me right now... Might have to look at full priced games (no big name / big $$$ titles though). Anybody got any suggestions?

1) Taiko??? no Tatsujin Rhythmic Adventure Pack #1 2) Final ?Fantasy?? ???V 3) Chasm 4) Cosmic Star Heroine 5) Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker I have been playing this game on and off, a level here and a level there, for like 2 years Finally polished it off today. It was OK. Fun in short bursts, but once I've completed a level or two I lose interest pretty quickly. Definitely not something I will replay. My daughter hasn't picked it up in forever either. I'll probably just take whatever trade-in value the store will give me for it next time my daughter wants a new game. Don't see any point in holding onto it.

Been spinning The Flaming Lips' latest album (American Head) this week. To my ears, a lot of their output since The Soft Bulletin (which is already 22 years old this spring! ) has sounded kinda same-y. More keys and synths, less guitar, more pop oriented song stylings and less rocking (with the exception of Embyonic). My ultimate Lips lineup was in the mid '90s. Transmissions from the Satellite Heart and Clouds Taste Metallic are two of my favourite albums ever. It took me years to come around to The Soft Bulletin and the other albums since then, but even then I don't really enjoy all the songs and I still like '90s guitar-rock Lips best... But there are some pretty good songs on American Head. Gotta give it a few more listens yet to really form a final opinion.

I like a couple of Zelda games quite a bit. Even though it's not my favourite series or anything, I don't strongly dislike it either. Zelda game announcements just don't get me excited, it's more of a and then I move along to the next headline.

I was curious about Project Triangle Strategy for a hot minute but then I realized strategy == SRPG ( duh ) and immediately got turned off. I've tried several times to get into SRPGs but have never enjoyed one enough to actually finish the game. I love Mario Golf and Mario Tennis games, so I'd totally play Mario Golf Super Rush... but -- as much as I like these games -- I'm not willing to pay 79.99 plus tax of my hard-earned Canadian funbucks for Mario Golf or Tennis. I still haven't found a good enough deal on Mario Tennis Aces and that's been out nearly 3 years now... Knockout City sounds pretty darn fun. Doubt I'll ever get it, but I think a younger version of me would have played this a ton. Might be interested in Ninja Gaiden someday for the right price. When I saw the headline I had assumed it was a collection of the NES classics, which I like but I can't beat without save states I forgot that they made more Ninja Gaiden games later on. Were those games any good..? Zero interest in anything Zelda from me

Wonder Egg #6 - this show is so nice to look at. Some great background music and sounds in this episode too. It keeps getting better and better. Teacher's a creep for sure...

Self isolation, social distancing, sheltering in place, whatever else you call it

Fatigue can apparently be a lingering aftereffect of COVID-19. Hopefully that doesn't stick around with you for too long after you get better. -
Kemono Jihen -- Kabane figured out how to ! SnK -- MAL and AniChart both say the final season is 16 episodes... it feels like there's a lot left to squeeze into the last 6 episodes! The stuff going on in the manga in recent chapters is pretty nuts. I guess there will only be one or two more episodes of slow build before the anime starts getting crazy again.

That sucks. Being sick in any capacity is no fun, but it at least sounds like you're not experiencing really bad respiratory problems..? No high fevers either? Get well soon! -
Hori's dad and the stalker/neighbour girl are both great additions to the cast of characters in Horimiya. Great episode this week SK8 was also pretty great this week. I don't find the bad guy very interesting and as a result thought last week's episode was a bit weak. Fortunately he wasn't much of a factor in this week's episode.

Juju Looked like a guitar case. Why would the old man be carrying around a guitar? Can't be that. Actually it is a guit and it's a fucking Flying V

I grabbed Transistor since it is heavily discounted on the eShop right now. (Tempted to snag Bastion and play it again too... ) So far I'm not in love with the Turn() system but maybe it will grow on me as I get better at the game.

Yeesh, took you forever to add another song. I was tempted to just finish this myself Lemme listen and think for a while and I'll get back with another track...

I thought the season started pretty good, up until they found the shelter. It's been really random since they had to flee the shelter though. Having not read the manga, it doesn't really bother me that I'm missing parts. If the anime is still good despite being different from the manga then that's fine. But the last couple episodes were not great and then they do this terrible clip-show Hopefully the anime redeems itself over the second half of the season.

Recap episodes always suck but this is especially bad timing for a recap. Ugh.

1) Taiko??? no Tatsujin Rhythmic Adventure Pack #1 2) Final ?Fantasy?? ???V 3) Chasm 4) Cosmic Star Heroine I'm on a roll this week! This was a very fun little RPG. Not too long, another "just right" sort of game for me. In the end it was a bit too easy (I assume I was on normal difficulty), but I'm OK with that and I don't feel the need to play it again for a greater challenge. There were a few tedious moments, but otherwise I really liked. I just don't have much patience for parts in RPGs where it's like you gotta talk to this NPC, then this NPC who will give you some item, then you give that item to another NPC who does something with it, and then you can advance to the next part of the story. Running around a town for half an hour talking to every NPC to figure out what the heck to do next just ain't fun. At least build a mini dungeon or boss battle into it if I have to go on some wild goose chase to advance the story Fortunately that silliness only came up once or twice. Zeboyd Games have done some cool stuff. I also like Cthulu Saves the World when I played it years ago.
