What a day for mecha. Back Arrow #21 was great. Finally my guy Bit gets to shine Interesting twist at the end of the episode too. Only 3 more episodes left!

SSSS.Dynazenon #9 -- This episode was fuckin' rad. 5 stars.

I was 'ing at the "Italian clowns!" remark.

Just two more first round series left to finish: G. Knights / Wild going to game 7 (c'mon Minnesota!) and Leafs lead Habs 3-2. The Avs and Jets are going to be well rested by the time the second round series get going.

Super Cub — Shii’s got a rad bicycle First the Cubs, note that bike. This show has it all! Handlebar covers are indeed lame, but nothing is worse than trying to ride with freezing fingers. They made the right choice

Yeah, breaking it into separate parts is a decent way to go about it. And, to be fair, if I had been reading the manga when it was current, then I might be feeling different by now since it ended back in December... maybe after a few months' break, I'd be keen to read more, but right I've had my fill for a while. Doesn't help that the description of part 2 doesn't thrill me too much. But I will reserve my final judgement for when it comes out and I've read a few chapters.

I polished off Chainsaw Man over the long weekend. I thought the ending was pretty good, though I have to admit I was a bit disappointed to learn at the end that this was only part 1. It was a pretty fun story with a decent ending that didn't leave me with too many questions. I'd rather that just be the end.

EDM and WSH down, PIT up against elimination I hope the Isles knock out the Pens, but I will of course cheer for either team over the damn Bruins. I'm happy for the Jets Didn't watch any of the games, but it looks like they were mostly close ones. They didn't win many regular season games vs. the Oilers, so it's cool to see them turn around and sweep them in the playoffs.

This episode dragged a bit for me. Kyo’s story is of course interesting and tragic and all that, but he’s also such a frustrating character. Stop running already dude!

86 ended on a rather depressing note this week We watched Digimon 46 and 47 this morning. The last few episodes have been a bit stronger and it looks like it gets better yet starting at episode 48. Should be fun!

TWEWY was really good this week. Boss battle was pretty rad! Would have been nice to make it a bit longer though.

Fun new chapters from Candy Flurry, i tell c, and The Elusive Samurai too.

They haven't had a shot at Detroit yet... not sure when they come up on the schedule, but those should be pretty winnable games. They also haven't played the Orioles yet this season. What is it, 18 or 19 games against each team in the same division? They had better win a bunch of their games against Baltimore. I'm sure the Yanks, Red Sox, and Rays will all rack up a bunch of wins against the Os. Jays gotta keep pace if they can.

Vivy was really good again this week. Exciting fight scene! And I’m quite enjoying the music in this show. The latest episode of Shadows House was a bit forgettable to me. I’m kinda losing interest in this maze challenge thing. TWEWY and 86 are on the watching schedule for tonight. There’s been so much basketball to watch this week, it’s hard to find time to watch all the new anime episodes and all the hoops (and then there are Blue Jays games too!)

It’s super Dynazenon #8 — Pretty random episode this week but I really liked it. Gauma’s reactions to everybody trying Instance Domination on the weird little kaiju

Super Cub

Many Canadians want so badly to somehow be better than our American neighbours. It's silly. I pre-reg'd for my first dose today. Just this week they opened it up to anybody 18+ in Ontario. I'm pretty low on the priority list though, so who knows how long I'll be on the waiting list before I get an appointment.

Ugh, the clip of the knee to the head of Tavares was not easy to watch. Brutal. Hope he’s alright.

Well that’s a bummer

They might have treated some playoff teams differently, but it looks like the Canucks had games against a couple playoff teams in this final busy stretch... so maybe the league wouldn’t have treated the other teams differently? I guess it helps that a chunk of these seemingly meaningless games were against the Flames. Neither team was playoff bound. Most of these guys are probably hitting a beach or golf course tomorrow

Why are they even bothering with those games..? The Canucks and Flames aren't even in the playoff picture. Unless there are draft implications, regular season games are pointless now

Oh, I didn’t know about the re-seeding. That could be an interesting wrinkle.
