Platinum End #17 was not terrible. Interesting to see Mirai being a little more assertive and actually doing something. I’m a bit curious about the last God candidate… but that character will probably end up being a let-down.

Show-ha Shoten #5 — This was a pretty solid chapter, overall. Nice to learn a bit more about some of the other characters aside from Shijima. I especially like this dude

Spinning some of favourite Sloan albums tonight. Love the lyrics in this one. “I usually notice all the little things, I was proud of it— She says it’s annoying.” Feels like the story of my life ”I missed the point.” Yup. Join the club. I love Sloan. I’m gonna be up all night listening to them.

I'm feeling a bit disgruntled today... one of my go-to albums when I'm in a mood like this is Album - Generic Flipper. The track "Ever" is especially soothing

After a couple decent episodes, Platinum End #16 took a turn that I didn't like very much. Is this going to turn into a police procedural drama now? I'm still enjoying Ousama Ranking but I'll admit that I'm getting a bit impatient with it (even though the suspense is OK). I just want to see Bojji do something awesome already. Quit making me wait for the good stuff.

I don't think I even noticed that one. Maybe I'll have a look later. My reading list has gotten a bit long again so I might want to wait for a couple things to end before I add more to the pile.

The Elusive Samurai #48 Sakamoto Days #56 Nothing too remarkable about the other new chapters this weekend. As I was reading Doron Dororon, I started to get the feeling it was just going to randomly end, but the last page says 'To be continued!' so I guess it hasn't been cancelled yet.

I thought episode 79 was very good despite the lack of action. It was over before I knew it. My memory of these bits is a little fuzzy so it’s nice to see it animated.

Seriously I’m super curious to see what comes next in 228!

I love the Project Diva games. There is a lot of vocaloid music that I enjoy much more than I ever thought I would.

I have considered quitting my job and going back to school, likely to do a 2-3 year college diploma program at the most, though shorter is better because I’ll need to get back to earning money before too long… buuuuuut my current job is pretty easy, has a few rather nice perks, and it’s far easier to just keep doing it. My wife’s about to complete an ECE course so I’ll make my decision once she’s working full-time.

I was thinking the same thing. Don’t make any sense to me. Many things about the HoF don’t make sense to me

Ortiz is in, Bonds (and Clemens) are out. I don’t get it. I would argue that Ortiz was not as good of a hitter as Bonds was, and Ortiz didn’t really have any other skills while Bonds was a very good base runner and defender on top of being an incredible hitter.

Barry's gotta be in the HoF, to me that's a no-brainer. IIRC he is alleged to have used PEDs started in the late 90's..? Look at his stats from the decade before that. He was obviously already on the HoF fast track. His numbers were insane. Steals, HRs, average, OBP, I think 2 or 3 MVP awards when he was still on the Pirates, numerous Gold Glove awards in the outfield. Bonds is no doubt in my mind deserving of a place in the HoF.
