Any of you been following The Rising of the Shield Hero?

Fate/Zero and Fate/Stay night UBW were both very good, but I'm totally unfamiliar with any of the other anime, VNs, etc. in that franchise

Here's one I haven't thought about in a long time but I think I really enjoyed when I watched it: .hack//Sign. I guess it's been nearly 15 years since I watched it; hardly remember a thing about it in terms of specific characters, plot points, etc. But I recall liking it. I don't think I went on to watch anything else in the .hack franchise though. This was back in the bad old days when I didn't always know where to look for anime online, still had spotty Internet access, etc. I'm not even sure how I lucked into finding the whole series available for download.

Played everything up to Quake 3. Not really a bad game in there, so I just picked "Other" for least favourite as a non-vote. Doom and Quake are great an all but I have a soft spot for Wolfenstein 3D. Wait, I kinda take that all back. Everything I said is basically true and Wolf 3D is a classic and all, except we forgot about Commander Keen. There's my favourite ??

It'll take us a while yet to get there (I think?) but it wouldn't surprise me either. I'm totally on board for all-digital.

I dunno. I've never been a big creator of topics, so we probably won't be seeing many conversations being started by me; and I guess I just don't feel like I have a lot to add right now to the threads about the things I'm into (sprots, anime, games, etc). Often I type a reply / new thread and think, "Am I really adding anything by posting this?" and then scrap it. Guess I'll just post more

Do you guys think MS gets out of the console business sooner than later? Lots of their games are also playable on Windows 10, and they've got some stuff coming over to Switch. Maybe they don't need to be putting out hardware.

I haven't followed hockey all winter so 4-3 now for CBJ so Tampa's not going down without a fight. Only got one period left to get the W though.

Anything can happen in a 7-game series, but the Tampa/Columbus thing is pretty nuts I'm looking for the Jets to turn their series around, and I would also like to see the Leafs solve the Boston playoffs curse. (But I'd also be OK with another traffic game 7 loss)

It's interesting because this is two years in a row now I think that Seattle is off to an unexpectedly good start. But IIRC last year they were winning in a much less sustainable fashion. Maybe this year their success is more believable? The Red Sox are losing to the Os right now. Both the Red Sox and Yankees have losing records. I love this season so far

I like okra but we for some reason don't cook with it very often. It's sometimes tricky because it can get so slimy if you don't do it right

I think all I'm watching this season are continuations and the Fruits Basket remake. None of the new stuff on Crunchyroll looks any good and I'm not sure Funi's got anything that's worth renewing my subscription for. (edit: after a second look, might be interested in Afterlost... ) Patiently waiting for Carole & Tuesday to be on Netflix.

Forgot about Amazon. I've never had a Prime subscription. And Hulu isn't a thing up here.

I subscribe to Crunchy, and sometimes Funi... also have Netflix, not that I really think of it as a go-to for anime. What other services are out there?

Pretty much all I drink outside of booze is coffee and water. I can always have a coffee (unless I know I'm already at the point where one more cup will get me all jittery). No milk, cream, sugar, flavour shots, syrups, etc. C O F F E E. I do also like Vietnamese green tea but I can't get the good stuff (from Thái Nguyên fyi) in Canada and I won't settle for less. I will also on occasion enjoy an A&W root beer if I have a craving for an A&W burger.
