The Blue Jackets have been really hot since February basically, and it's been quite the run since the last couple weeks of the season through their sweep of Tampa. I think there's an argument to be made that they are the favourites to win the Cup at this point.

1st Round was for the most part a dud but there are some great 2nd Round match ups coming our way I think Toronto has a pretty good shot at a Finals appearance, though it won't be easy from here on out. Warriors/Rockets in Round 2 might be a better series than whatever the Finals match is. Certainly won't be easy, but I can see the Rockets taking them out

Jays, Leafs, and Raps all have games starting right now! The Raptors should win, it hasn't even been close between them and the Magic the last three games. Bring on the 76ers The Leafs have a chance to finally overcome the Bruins playoffs curse, but another Game 7 in Boston is terrifying even if the Leafs are probably actually the better team. Please don't be an overtime heartbreaker The Jays get an honourable mention because Pillar is returning to Toronto with the Giants. I never even really liked him, but you can't argue with the fact that he was an important part of the '15 and '16 teams / postseason runs.

Games I got for me: - Diablo III: Eternal Collection - Cave Story+ - SUPERBEAT XONiC - VOEZ - MUSYNX - GUNVOLT: Striker Pack - I am Setsuna (digital) - NBA Playgrounds 2 (digital) - Mutant Mudds Collection (digital) - Kero Blaster (digital) - RBI Baseball 18 Games I got to play with the kid: - Minecraft - Snipperclips - Penguin Wars - Puyo Puto Tetris - Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker Quite a few things on my wish list, waiting on sale prices. I'm over paying full price for games. I hardly have time for them anymore, so I'll just wait out the sales / deals on used games if I have to. It's a shame that Nintendo games are mostly 79.99 CAD new and rarely go on sale. I will eventually make an exception for Smash, but I'm not paying 79.99 + tax for yet another Mario Kart or Mario Tennis, even though I would like to play them some day. I think my daughter and I will have quite a bit of fun with Captain Toad so that's probably the next purchase.

Any of you been following The Rising of the Shield Hero?

Fate/Zero and Fate/Stay night UBW were both very good, but I'm totally unfamiliar with any of the other anime, VNs, etc. in that franchise

Here's one I haven't thought about in a long time but I think I really enjoyed when I watched it: .hack//Sign. I guess it's been nearly 15 years since I watched it; hardly remember a thing about it in terms of specific characters, plot points, etc. But I recall liking it. I don't think I went on to watch anything else in the .hack franchise though. This was back in the bad old days when I didn't always know where to look for anime online, still had spotty Internet access, etc. I'm not even sure how I lucked into finding the whole series available for download.

Played everything up to Quake 3. Not really a bad game in there, so I just picked "Other" for least favourite as a non-vote. Doom and Quake are great an all but I have a soft spot for Wolfenstein 3D. Wait, I kinda take that all back. Everything I said is basically true and Wolf 3D is a classic and all, except we forgot about Commander Keen. There's my favourite ??

It'll take us a while yet to get there (I think?) but it wouldn't surprise me either. I'm totally on board for all-digital.

I've never been a big creator of topics, so we probably won't be seeing many conversations being started by me; and I guess I just don't feel like I have a lot to add right now to the threads about the things I'm into (sprots, anime, games, etc). Often I type a reply / new thread and think, "Am I really adding anything by posting this?" and then scrap it. Guess I'll just post more
