I caught up Show-ha Shoten and Chainsaw Man, and I'm too lazy really type up any detailed thoughts right now, but both are really great.

Caught up on PPPPPP

I finished Takopi's Original Sin. Only 16 chapters long. God, it's rough. The final chapter damn near made me cry. Really good stuff. I recommend, though I caution that it is NOT for the feint of heart when it comes to realistic and gritty depictions of a shitty childhood. EDIT: I also caught up on Akane-banashi. It's been awesome as usual.

JJBA Also, I read the first half of Takopi's Original Sin and it's properly fucked. So I'm extra curious to see where this new series goes.

Have you guys read The Ichinose Family's Deadly Sins? It's made by the person who made Takopi's Original Sin which is only available on the website, but I remember SuperEyepatchWolf mentioned it during his State of Shonen Jump video. It seems like a really cool concept so far. I'm gonna try and keep up with it. And at some point try to check out Takopi, too.

I read through JJBA up to Part 4 and only got a few chapters in before I had to break from my binge of Stardust Crusaders. If you two start digging in, I just might have to get back to finishing it myself.

Holy shit, the most recent episode of Mob Psycho was insane

My final school semester started up so I haven't had as much time to keep up on all the manga. I'm still a few chapters behind on everything, and the last binge I did was to finally finish up Protect Me, Shugomaru. And today I polished off the last two chapters of Earthchild. I'll post my thoughts when/as I catch up on everything

The 3D was something I was worried about, so I'm glad it wasn't too distracting or anything

Thanks for making my hype even stronger. Really excited to see the anime adaptation. Really feel like it has the power to do proper justice to the action scenes.

I'm very curious to see how people feel about the stuff coming up. It's gotten kind of a mixed reaction from what I've seen. I'm still loving it for the most part, but I think I'm always a pretty low barometer of quality.

I also saw Pop Team Epic is getting more episodes this season

I actually read through Death Note for the first time about a year ago. I had already watched the anime multiple times, but never read the manga. I definitely think the manga adaptation is more successful and less corny. Does a lot to get us deeper in L's head as well as fleshes out some encounters better. I dunno, I'm still a huge fan of it up until the second half, especially the manga version. That said, I think the manga is also much more successful at telling the second half and I found it more engaging. When I re-watched the anime after for comparison, the second half feels so rushed and forced in comparison, with no reason to get attached to the new characters they bring in.

Yep. Things sound real sloppy right about now. If half of everything coming out is true, both the Elite and Punk are being asses. I do think Punk shouldn't have aired that shit out on a media presser though instead of actually like...furthering the product. I get wanting to clear the air on Cabana and I get not wanting to hold shit in. But this could have been internet speculation rumor that the fans could argue over whether it's true or a work or not, and if he had just been like "I didn't fuck with Cabana, end of story," then maybe the fight wouldn't have happened. Also, I really don't think anything Hangman did or said was that bad and for Punk to be so pissed about it seems petty.

I plan on seeing it soon, but I'll probably have to sail the seven seas to do it. Can't really afford to go to the theater right now
