Wasn't expecting to read a Wall-o-text today but this helps! Thank you for some of the clarification. It has legit been forever since I've read them. So far from my circles i've seen a various reactions rating from yours, to meh, to some mild disappointment, to 1 friend in particular who refuses to watch any further after 2min in. (I'm assuming he was a superfan ) So far i'm enjoying it.

That's what my friends said about Perrin too. But considering FX did the same thing adding characters that weren't there in the original comics with Walking Dead i'm not solely surprised Amazon Prime did that here either.

Sadly sex always sells on television. I've watched the first 3 and a couple of friends explained some of the change choices they have seemed to made which some of it i can understand they are probably upping the drama ante for viewers.

There is too much to start watching >_>;;; I got through episode 1 before i switch to finishing Arcane. It has been YEARS since i've read some of the books and i only gave up on that because the writing style was meeeh? But also too many things happening to keep teenage me's attention long enough to stick with it. That being said, for far i am enjoying it. Costuming is well, like the soundtrack. We'll see where this goes.
