  1. Just a little over a week until
  2. Not that this sentiment is exactly the same thing, but I don't get all the people upset about the fan theories that didn't pan out. Personally, I just enjoyed the ride.
  3. It was actually up a bit before midnight, so I got a slightly early jump on it. That was a really satisfying ending, IMO, even if a lot of the fan theories didn't come to fruition. Finding out that Agatha turned Ralph into Pietro was a nice laugh, especially his "heh, boner". Also holy shit, that was the Darkhold, that's awesome. I'm really curious what's gonna happen with the white Vision, I know old Vision basically gave white Vision his memories, but it'll be interesting to learn what comes of it. The last few minutes before everything wraps up had me on the verge of tears, and when Vision went away I just started crying. I was surprised to find out that it was only 40 minutes long, as it felt like twice that (but in a good way!) Oh, and for anyone that didn't realize it, there were actually two credits scenes, one in the middle and one after. So the friend the Skrull woman told Monica about has to be Talos, right? And finally, Wanda reading through the Darkhold can't be a good sign...
  4. What to binge in preparation for tonight's finale, according to Marvel. Better start now, you've got 8 movies to watch before midnight. 😕
  5. I'm all for this if it gives us more James Spader.
  6. Man, what a powerful episode this week. Not a lot of action, but still real great stuff. There's a mid-credits scene in this one as well, so stick around. The scene with Wanda looking at Vision's torn apart body, and the scene where she rebuilds him had me on the verge of tears. I lost my dad when I was real young, so it was real hard to watch those scenes. Seeing someone you care about in a state where you can't do anything to help them, and then getting the chance to see them again...powerful stuff. It really hit close to home. So now we know Wanda didn't actually take Vision's body, SWORD had it the entire time. Seeing his body at the mid-credits scene was pretty crazy, can't say I expected that. There's no way that's actually him though...like, it's his body, but it won't have anything of what made Vision who he was. I think there's only one episode left, i'm wondering how exactly they're going to tie everything together. Also Kathryn Hahn is fucking amazing, I love her so much. Edit: Something I saw on reddit just now made me think, Wanda's going to have to kill Vision again, isn't she? That's going to fucking destroy her. Edit 2: Hayward is Mephisto, that's my prediction.
  7. I'm wondering what that book was in Agatha's basement. My first thought was the Darkhold, which I only really know of through Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D and a run in the Carnage/Venom comics, so I'm not really sure. Edit: Someone on reddit pointed this out during the Wanda credits Edit 2: Stan Lee cameo....sort of.
  8. Finally, the true villain of the show has been revealed! Agnes is: Agatha muthafuckin' Harkness. Also damn that cliffhanger! Edit: ALSO there is a mid-credits scene in this one, between the fancy credits and the regular ones. I found that out from the reddit thread.
  9. I think the Fox deal is too new for that to happen. They could've done reshoots I'm sure, but I don't think they'd go that route just yet.
  10. The theory i'm seeing is that it's a way to show that magic can't bring people back from the dead, which makes some sense but when I think about it, the kid in the commercial wasn't able to get the Yo Magic yogurt open and then he died. He didn't die after ingesting it, so who knows. Edit: Just saw someone mention in the reddit topic who Monica's friend might be...Adam Brashear. Comic spoilers, I guess.
  11. Wow, so this was a big one. I loved the Malcolm in the Middle-esque intro, and the shift in tone to more recent comedy was a nice touch. I was kind of hoping in the recap, when they showed the footage of Pietro dying back in AoU that they'd have replaced Pietro in that with the actor playing him now. I also wonder if he's actually Pietro, or if he's just someone SWORD sent in to keep tabs on Wanda, and for some reason she just turned that guy into a version of her brother. He doesn't seem to remember things the way she does (if at all) and is asking a lot of questions. I got a good laugh out of Vision's costume being a mexican wrestler, although it was kind of odd that he talked about fighting crime when he told Wanda he was doing neighborhood watch stuff. It was also pretty crazy seeing Wanda expand the hex, and seeing things change to fit the Westview narrative, although I feel real bad for those agents that got turned into clowns, that's a fate worse than death if you ask me. I was kinda hoping they'd show what happened to Darcy, though. I'm also wondering just who this person Monica is supposed to be taking Jimmy to see. My first thought would be Dr. Strange, as the rumor is that this sort of leads right into that movie, but she makes it sound like he's a scientist or something along those lines. I'm also wondering if Monica's multiple trips in and out of the hex are what are giving her the powers she'll have in the future? Edit: Oh, and what the fuck was up with that ad? Creepy as hell. I'm starting to think the rest will be dark, too.
  12. I saw someone else point this out, and I didn't notice it in episode 5. Look at Wanda's shirt, specifically the pocket. Her pocket flannel is in the shape of an X. Most flannel shirts, as far as I can tell, don't change the pattern for the pocket. This has to be intentional, right?
  13. Hah, they brought back Pietro, but he's been "recast" as the X-Men movies version of Pietro. I got a good laugh out of Wanda trying to escape the conversation with Vision by rolling credits. Wondering why Monica seems to be upset with Captain Marvel, saw someone wonder if it's because she wasn't there when Monica's mom died? Also, Wanda's fucking scary when she's angry, holy shit.
  14. She was, she was the daughter of Carol's friend from the Air Force.
  15. So we finally get some answers. According to those cops, the town of Westview doesn't exist, but i'm not clear on if they mean it never existed, or that from what they can tell it's like it didn't (because everyone's gone). I'm assuming the first, since they probably weren't able to go inside. Side note, holy shit was that intro intense, with people coming back from the Snap. I don't think we've seen that part in any of the movies, outside of the tiny bit in Spider-Man: Far From Home. But yeah, it was cool to see Darcy and Jimmy Woo again, i'm wondering if anyone else will be making an appearance at some point. So it seems like Wanda is fully in control of what happens in Westview, and maybe she's done something to help her forget it until she's reminded of it? I really wish they had shown what happened to the agent crawling in the sewers when Wanda "rewound" that moment. I'm also kinda curious why more of those drones weren't found all around Westview, considering how many SWORD sent in.
  16. I read an article about the episode a little bit ago that has me wondering. When Agnes and Herb are trying to tell Vision about what's going on, doesn't that take place while Wanda is fuming with Geraldine in the house? Maybe she sort of lost concentration in keeping the illusion alive, and that's why Herb and Agnes were finally able to try and say something to Vision.
  17. I never finished the last season, but I don't think SWORD has officially been in anything outside of comics before this show.
  18. It's one a week, dude 😛
  19. Looks like Wanda's controlling that little area they're in, but it's got SWORD oversight. Not sure if she's there of her own free will or not, though. I get the feeling she is, only because she keeps rewinding to try and fix things. I think the other people in the town are SWORD agents as well. It would make sense, having someone keeping an eye on her on the inside. I was really hoping the commercial would be about Tahiti instead of Hydra Soak, but I guess that wouldn't have made as much sense because there's no real reason Wanda should know about Tahiti and what happened with Coulson.
  20. I'm thinking Wanda tried to get away from things, so she hid out in some town, got freaked out by something, and the entire town is now stuck in some sort of sitcom world, but Wanda has no idea she's doing it. Someone also said that the toy helicopter was supposed to be a real helicopter that crashed, and Monica Rambeau (the black woman in the second episode) was piloting it, and now she's stuck in Wanda's world too. Saw that theory on reddit and I think it's pretty plausible.
  21. That's because there was around 7 minutes of credits. Saw someone say that at some point in Age of Ultron, Wanda said her and Pietro watched a lot of Nick at Night, which if true would make sense given how early sitcom-y everything was.
  22. First two episodes are out! Spoiler for both episodes I'm really interested to see where this goes. Edit: THIS IS NOW A SPOILER TOPIC. YOU'VE BEEN WARNED.
