No because that's just an American poor man's version of a Katsu Dog. And you can't put a sandwich on a stick.

But that's the only difference for a hot dog bun from most sandwiches is that it isn't sliced all the way through. So it still essentially be called a sandwich.

Besides buns split half the time so they would still be 2 pieces. I also say yes to that be cause all the fixings!

I also say yes because: *Bun is bread which the meat fits nicely in. *You can eat it with all kinds of condiments (or plain) It's funny to see how many people on my friends post were saying no without pointing out that the dog by istelf didn't make it a sandwich. But not giving any other real reason why it wasn't besides that. Also did anyone else used to cut the hot dogs length wise and place them on regular slices of bread?
