  1. It could be worse, could work at a grocery store in a state that doesn't care or a company that really doesn't care. If it weren't for seeing people wearing mask (a lot still don't) you wouldn't think a pandemic is going on. Everything around here is operating pretty much like normal. I really surprised my county only has had 4900 cases despite Georgia having 423K.
  2. You still getting that special/bonus whatever for this? Kroger basically said well we've given you enough, not more extra pay. No more if you get sick we'll cover you, use your own paid time off/vacations. Also @webheadWho is getting to 100K first? Arizona or Georgia?
  3. It's almost impossible to enforce social distancing in some of these places that's reopening. May and June will be fun...
  4. Georgia is opening everything except Bars and Clubs most of it starting Friday (others will be allowed Monday). Wait until the cases in Atlanta double by the end of next week, shit like this makes me dread going to work.
  5. I hope they are going to actually do it right and not make it a joke, unlike Kroger. Seriously Kroger idea of limiting people is cutting store capacity in half (my store is 400 BTW). It's just like a slap in the face really. The Greed of Kroger just simply outweighs the safety of people, although they should really stop piling in places...
  6. I work for Kroger...so I'll be working regardless. Actually I've been working for the last 10 days straight and I may get off Saturday? Or possibly working 7 days again, who knows. It looks like panic shopping is slowing slightly, but still lots of customers showing up. Mostly everything is restricted, no school and thankfully no Masters Tournament (I live in Augusta, GA). Or at least for now.
