I can understand changing it from War Machine to War Raiders because everything has to sound fucking nerdy in the modern WWE Marvel and/or that UFC guy who almost murdered her wife being named that. But an "experience" is something a 35 year old woman googles to add to her vacation plans and something a 50 year old man puts into his record player to remind him of the times back when he had testosterone, not something you use to describe a bunch of white savages rolling up on your coast to murder, rape and pillage. "They live the Viking lifestyle, even sew their own clothes!" Michael Cole can take the biggest baddasses in the world and make them sound mildly more threatening than someone who volunteers to run bingo at an old folks' home.

Last night's Raw was pretty bad. Heyman's worst traits (bad '90s soap opera storylines) and some of Vince's recent worst traits. As soon as a match gets restarted, I skip the rest of it (though I did stick around for Ricochet vs the Guns n Gallows because I like those two guys a lot). Most of the time WWE does it, feels like they wasted my time on purpose presenting one thing only to flip around and present another, usually lesser thing (singles match I want to see turns into a 6-man tag or something). All these 2/3 fall matches (CMLL does them better so I can't even get into them from the novelty perspective because I see tons of them every week) and all the excuses to not have wrestling in commercials needs to go. Just stop having regular commercials/have regular commercials during set times like actual sports do, or go back to what it was before.

Guess Mox is still unhappy about Brock not wanting to do a deathmatch at Mania

Large portion of the Smackdown crew have been held back in Saudi Arabia and it apparently wasn't for plane or weather issue. Vince got out of there on his own plane. Rumours ofc start flying (unlike the SDL roster) that he had a disagreement with the Saudis over something. They won't be able to make it back in time for SDL so they'll be running either with a light crew or an emergency crew. Pussy-ass Vince probs should've stayed behind regardless what the issue is.

I had two dream scenarios for last night and neither happened Scenario A Scenario B

I only ended up watching Black/Cesaro, half of AJ/Ricochet (too long, or maybe the quiet crowd made it feel too long) and the finishes of the WWE and Universal Title matches. G1 season and AEW all on the same weekend = WWE's getting sacrificed

Didn't watch any of it tbh

It's like FCW went to the Halloween party dressed up as Dude Love

Conspiracy Theory: Braun is one of Mark Henry's guys, I bet he asked for his release so he can go to AEW I listen to Cornette's podcast semi-regularly, and his host is a guy who works in financial shit and that's what he thinks Nick Khan's job in WWE is to facilitate. Record profits, trim down the number of employees (cut a lot of wrestlers recently and laid off a few departments), and Nick bought a mansion in California recently when WWE's been based out of Connecticut forever. It's taken Vince a long time but he's nearly ascended to becoming WCW

Ye, it's a mega-corporation banking on the idea that they can sue any of their wrestlers into the ground and for the most part the mainstream doesn't pay attention to wrestling so they fly under the radar. Apparently Andrew Yang knows what's up and more or less said if Biden wins, if he's not the Secretary of Labour he'll have that person's phone number and something might get done about it

So Big Dave's speculation is that AEW's no longer growing in the prime demo and WWE staunched their own pandemic ratings problems with the Thunderdome so they're not slightly worried they're gonna lose spot at the top anymore (I think even if they did, the 60 year-old eastern seaboard name-brand and the 40 year old national name brand are too strong for that to even register), and WWE also recognizes that AEW has a foothold in the business now and there's nothing WWE can do about it, so they've changed back to business-as-usual form. Releasing wrestlers that could be useful to AEW to keep the profit-margins in line for when they go back on the road is a big sign of that. I'm happy as fuck if that means the old days of WWE churn are back
