Sharks or Bruins gotta be the favourites just from the combination of finals experience and being the two top seeded teams left. Though, all the Cental Division teams are probably better than their records indicate because they had to play each other a lot all year and it looks like there's a lot of high level talent on all of three of them. I guess the Islanders are a top-seeded team too (at least by record), but that roster doesn't look like a 103 point team, so I'm assuming it's Barry Trotz being a really good lesser-team coach, and the only time he got past the second round/won the cup was with an all-time great in Ovechkin on the roster, and the Islanders have no one remotely close to being a star player on it. Whoever comes out of NYI/CAR is getting the conference finals as a gift because I think Boston or Columbus would beat both of them if they were matched up that way.

It'd be pretty significant for the Raptors as a franchise to pull off making the finals, especially since the Maple Leafs and the rest of the Canadian teams are out of the NHL playoffs. There's still smaller things to play for, I guess

Oh also It's probably way better for the Raptors if this is the season they can finally make the NBA finals while the Leafs aren't making a deep run at the same time

This is going to be an interesting little chunk of time. Smackdown moves to Fox innnnn October I think? It's going to be the A show because it has the biggest potential audience and probably should get the highest rating just for the channel it's on. They moved most of the people they consider their big stars (and opponents for them to beat) to SDL to load it up for that. But in the interim, Raw is still the A show with the longterm audience that expects it to be the A show, but with a B roster, so we're gonna see how that affects ratings for both shows (and also it's a referendum on TNA because the male side of the roster is sure... IMPACTFUL).

First time ever that both #8 seeds (or in this case, both second wild cards) beat both #1 seeds (or in this case, both conference champions) in the same playoff year.

I remember really liking the contrast between IRL, a drab black-and-white silent-movie where things suck, and Online, a full-colour living and breathing world, but also remember waiting for something to actually happen most of the time (which I might be chalking up to being in high school at the time and being more about the shounen action, I'll have to rewatch to see if I still feel that way)
