So Xavier and Big E were on commentary for the first hour of SD. (Byron's dad died a couple days ago and Corey is apparently filming a movie?) Needless to say, it was pretty amazing Also, Isiah "Swerve" Scott (Shane Strickland) and Gulak had a pretty damn fantastic match on 205 Live.

That was actually a very interesting read, though I'm not shocked by the results.

I had heard that it was fantastic from multiple places. Finally watched. Holy shit it did not disappoint.

Agreed, but I'd even add Strowman/Lashley to that. I really wasn't interested in that match at all and ended up loving it. It was absolutely beautiful.

The PPV was actually pretty great as a whole, easily one of their top 3 of the year. Lots of matches were a lot better than they had any business being. Worth watching. Don't let the final moment ruin it for you.
  7. Hmm... we used to have a rule specifically for this kind of thing, I'll have to re-add it I guess. Maybe make it be "Any title match added to the card within 48 hours before the show starts won't be picked, unless no picks have been made at that point." And yeah, I was expecting it to be, but it never was until today.
  8. Generally, yes. But it was added literally like 3 hours before the pre-show started. So too late for it. I've literally never heard of WWE Now, so I'm not counting something being announced there as being announced. The only match we picked for that's happened so far is Gulak/Nese. So you won't get credit for that. You're good for everything else.

They are. Closing of the show (after the main event) was awkward and clunky as fuck, though.
  11. No, the whole setup has basically been that Nikki's done all the hard work to get Alexa a shot. And it's a handicap match, not a triple threat. It's implied that if Nikki were to get the pin, Alexa would still get the belt. But that doesn't mean that's what would happen. There's many avenues it could go if Nikki got the pin. Nikki wins, leaves with the belt. Nikki wins, Alexa leaves with the belt. Nikki wins, Alexa tries to leave with it and Nikki attacks her. Or Bayley could win Or Alexa could get the pin and leaves with it. Or Alexa wins and there could be a double turn where Nikki ends up bad and Alexa good. Yes, the end of the match.

The final 5-10ish minutes of Episode Six was masterful in pretty much every way.

I enjoyed it quite a lot Also enjoyed UK this week too. Even with the Download shows being house show-y, they've still done a lot.

Maybe have it count in the way an OT loss works in Hockey? Still a "point", but not as many as a win and more than a loss.

Fuck. I just saw this. Might be a little late to throw stuff together Honestly, All Out seems like a good place to start something like that.

I'm cautiously optimistic as well. Especially if that bolded part about them essentially being what HHH is to NXT is true. Even if it isn't, I feel like if there's any chance of Vince being open to some changes, it's probably from those two.
  21. Also, that was a surprisingly good PPV. Maybe because there were such low expectations. Even the 40 people in attendance seemed to like it.

  23. At the end of the season (this season ends at Survivor Series), the top three are the belt holders until the end of the next season. We put the Universal at the Top Spot because WWE clearly value that the most even though it sucks So Nick, Brianne, and I are the defending champs. But you're in good shape right now for a belt.
  24. They're shiny and look good on a mantle.
  25. It's the tagline for the PPV. Well, "It's time to kick ass and take names!" is. So commentary's said it ad nauseam, as usual... and it's even worked its way into some of the promos.
