  1. Not like there's a whole lot to say about the show itself at the moment anyway. XD Though they did put up a little featurette thing that was kind of interesting so I guess I can put it back on track with that? It seems that was definitely Titania that we saw.
  2. Yeah, I've seen similar comments from Hiddleston as well. As for GotG I think Bradley Cooper and Dave Bautista said they were completely done for sure. I know most of them didn't want to do more without Gunn otherwise (think he might be done as well? Don't remember if he said for sure). Don't recall seeing anything one way or the other for the others there.
  3. To be fair, it seems like most of them did to some degree or another (ie: RDJ, Evans, and Johannsson). Some of the GotG people seem pretty much done after Vol. 3. There are only a few that seem to enjoy the role itself enough to be cool doing stuff in perpetuity (which seems to be the case with Hemsworth and Hiddleston at the very least).

14.) It Takes Two This was a really great game overall. One of the best co-op experiences I've had. It's really nice to see how much stronger this kind of game can be when it goes all in and actually requires co-op. Mechanics were fun, story was interesting if not anything spectacular (and both the characters are kind of not great people honestly XD ) and the levels were all really cool, interesting, and varied. Lot of fun moments all around. Glad this game did as well as it did, because I definitely want to see what else this studio can do. I've enjoyed their previous game as well as Josef Fares' first game, but this one was on a whole other level.
  5. Conversely, the studio could certainly slow the fuck down too. As much as I love the super hero stuff and am fine with the pace it's releasing at, I know there are plenty of people that are getting burned out by it anyway. Stretching the projects out a bit isn't going to hurt anybody. Especially if it avoids ridiculous work load and hours for people. That seems unlikely though, so they should probably just strike. XD
  6. I sincerely hope they do. Especially with as much money as these things tend to make above and beyond their budgets, they should definitely get paid properly.
  7. Those would be Atlantians, lead by Namor aka the Sub-Mariner. Seems like they are setting him up as the villain initially. Not sure if that will persist through the whole movie or not though. They've made him pretty hostile and elitist in some things I've seen/read, but I don't know a ton about the character outside of the fact that he's been around pretty much forever in the comics (was created in the 30s I think?)
  8. I think it may have been, yeah. Seems like they could just throw in a ton of B and C list villains for something like this and it would be great. XD And that was definitely Daredevil. No way they have a show about a superhero/lawyer and not put in the other superhero/lawyer. Really looking forward to this. Seems like they're going for the 4th wall breaking they used to do all the time with her so that's gonna be fun. CGI definitely looked like they had improved it some more. I'm not expecting it to be perfect though. This probably didn't have the kind of budget some of the bigger names/things do so it's fine. I probably would have been fine with the worse version ultimately.
  9. Yeah, at first I thought she shape shifted since that was a thing that happened in the comics when she first got her powers, but based on her reactions it seemed more like the switched places. Will have to rewatch the scene though. Also guess I was right on the rolling the Inhumans into the mutants thing. Even if they use the royal family again they could just make them a faction of mutants at this point. That artical tracks as they pushed the Inhuman thing HARD in the comics with the whole terrigen bomb thing and creating a ton of new ones (and killing off a shitload of mutants in the process) so they were definitely gearing up for that. Then they went and screwed up the Inhuman name too much for the MCU. With them having the mutants back anyway, it's the smart thing to do to just do a reversal on that. They're functionally the same thing anyway. Overall I absolutely loved the whole thing though. My misgivings were gone pretty early, but they just kept showing time and again, that even though they had to change some pretty fundamental stuff, the source material stayed important. They adapted a LOT more of it than I thought, and improved on it in a number of ways. I'm interested in seeing more from this show runner and these writers for sure.
  10. I really enjoyed it overall. Agree that Ragnarok was the better movie, but this one is still better than the other two. Christian Bale was excellent, and I feel like the way they did Gor was almost a glimpse at what Malekith SHOULD have been. Loved the goats too. Glad they finally put them into one of the movies too. Was hoping he would name them as well. Got what I was hoping to see the entire movie too: Hercules! Looking forward to seeing him and Thor together. That was always one of my favorite rivalries in the comics. XD The 2nd after credit scene was nice too. I figured Jane disappearing into gold dust stuff meant she was going to Valhalla, but it was nice to have it confirmed. Also dat Heimdall cameo. There was a lot to like in this movie that helped elevate it I think, but it did have a couple issues. I do feel like the movie felt rushed though. Cramming all of that into 120 minutes felt weird. Nothing had room to breath and it made the pacing feel really off. I'm also disappointed they didn't do more with the Necrosword. I legit thought they might sneak in a solid symbiote reference at some point (though the monsters it made definitely had that sort of vibe). Curious if they'll do something way down the line with it and maybe build up to Knull perhaps.

13.) (Steam Deck) Aperture Desk Job This was basically just an elaborate tutorial for using the Steam Deck controls, but was wonderfully absurd in the typical Valve/Portal style. Didn't take much to get through, but any excuse for more Cave Johnson is always welcome.

11.) Ghostwire: Tokyo Was an interesting game overall, but it leaned WAY too hard in the the open world, collectathon shenanigans to the point of extreme tedium. Combat also got a little samey by the end, but that didn't bother me too much since all the hand movement animations were kind of fun to watch. XD Lots of cool Japanese cultural stuff, and all the monsters and yokai and stuff were really interesting. Had a lot going for it, but definitely needed a smaller map overall and some things tightened up. Playing on PS5 was probably a mistake though as the aiming on the controller was utterly unpleasant at default. Had to dick with the controls for almost an hour to get to something that felt playable. 12.) Donut County Fun little indie game that was pretty straight forward and short, but quite humorous. Had a light sort of Katamari Damacy vibe. Plan to run through again to try and get all the trophies. Seems like you have to do specific stuff in levels for them and seems like it will be relatively entertaining and get. Nice palate cleanser sort of game.
  13. As soon as the last episode ended with her needing to go to Pakistan, I knew where this was going. They are REALLY condensing some of the comic storylines. Makes it feel a little rushed, but they are doing a great job of fitting everything together and making it work with the original material. All the thematic stuff is there and done even better in some cases. Can tell the people writing this really cared about what they were doing despite having to change things. Only thing I miss is the just absolutely stupid, Ninja Turtle level villains she had to deal with multiple times throughout her early stuff. They had a certain charm that the show is missing out on with not using any of that material. I get it, but it still would have been nice if they could have fit one in somewhere.

10.) Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge As MT said, I played it through with her and web. Was a hell of a nostalgia trip. Fun little game though. Wouldn't mind playing it with others doing various shit in it whenever. Nice distraction from the other stuff I'm playing.

Technically, you CAN grind for the best stuff. Someone did the math. What are you doing for the next 10 years?
  17. Yeah, the whole thing was just dumb fun mixed with weaponized nostalgia, and I loved the whole thing. The whole explanation for where those shitty knockoff movies come from was hilarious. The when they make fun of stuff that does an updated theme song when everyone just wants the original and then proceed to do exactly that got me too.

9.) Vampire: The Masquerade - Swansong Made by the same company that made 'The Council', it's a narrative RPG that plays out something like a Telltale game, or something like Detroit: Become Human but with legit RPG style stats that effect how successful options while talking may be and important conversations kind of play out like a battle. Lots of adventure game style puzzles as well that were pretty well done. Overall a better comparison is probably Disco Elysium, but nowhere near as much depth as that game had. It's a smaller studio, so the character animations are a bit janky and character models leave something to be desired, but it isn't quite as "uncanny valley" inducing as The Council had been. Some decent replay value as well as some choices definitely take things in pretty different directions by the end. Had a lot of fun playing it. Probably going to go for the Platinum since it doesn't seem too bad overall to do and can skip dialogue if I've seen it already now that I beat it once.

    Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi (Disney+ 2022)

He's not dead. He's in multiple things set after the time period where this series takes place. >_> I do wonder why they altered his design so much though. The Grand Inquisitor looked a LITTLE different than other Pau'an we've seen but not THAT much different. They've done others of his race in live action stuff before and they the difference in appearance even from them is pretty substantial.
  20. There will be other stuff until then though. I really like the way Disney paces their stuff (assuming you're all in on both the Marvel and Star Wars stuff anyway) since it seems like there's never a huge wait before something pops up. Moon Knight just finished up not long ago, Obi-Wan in less than 2 weeks, then Ms. Marvel in June, which should carry us to less than a month to wait for She-Hulk.

8.) Sifu WAY too many games came out all at once and I can't decide what I want to play half the time. Sifu was the first of them but Jesus was it fucking hard (for me at least). I made it to a little over 3/5 of the way through the game but the 4th stage was just beating my ass, and the boss is cheap as fuck. Put it down once Elden Ring and Witch Queen came out and hadn't gone back to it until this week. They did a big update and added difficulty modes (one easier, one harder) and I was finally able to get through the rest of the game. The getting older each time you die thing is interesting. Really fun combat. It never felt unfair and was really fluid. I've just always been terrible with stuff that relies heavily on dodging and parrying with precision. Story was interesting if relatively simple. Has some decent replayability with learning the level layouts and fights, finding all the collectibles, and trying to get through stages at the youngest age you can. Going through again to get the other ending now since I feel like I won't have to fight it every inch of the way now.
  22. Apparently there are currently no plans for another season. When the put the trailer out for the last episode out originally, it said "Series Finale" (it got pulled shortly after and replaced with "Season Finale"), and all the main actors/actresses have said they were only signed for 1 season and there were no plans given for another. Most seem willing to do more though so that's something at least. I personally liked the first couple episodes, 3 & 4 were where it got rough for me.
  23. As SOON as he said he'd let "both" of them go, I was like "But not the other one! " I knew we'd see Jake SOMEWHERE before the end after that. Would have been cool to see the fight near the end instead of just the aftermath, but it was a good callback to Steven first learning about Marc so I wasn't too upset about it. I was kind of iffy on some of the middle episodes and started to feel like the writing was failing the show a bit, but those last 2 episodes REALLY made up for it.
  24. There was a new discord channel made for it so I've been talking there lol.
