She won't hear otherwise that her kids are perfect little angels. Look, I love my nieces and nephews and hell I've watched them grow from birth, but they are kids and make mistakes. I didn't care about her getting mad until she said degrading shit about me behind my back, pushed me in the chest, and showed her true ass self. She made it clear that I don't belong (in her view, but fuck her sideways) K is safe tho. Turns out he was hiding in the thankfully broken fireplace in the sun room the whole time.

Dumb freaking cat gave me quite the scare today and went missing. Found him and nearly got into a fist fight with Galeigh's sister. Tldr: I got upset that her kids scared my cat into hiding (not at them, she eavesdropped on my private venting). She went into full mommy Karen mode and put her hands on me and pushed me and I was inches close to open palmed, five-finger slapping her ass in her low calcium mouth. Yea, I'm still mad.

I wish the base allowed seasonal hunting, cuz that would solve the problem reeeal quick. Lotsa of huntsmen/ butchers on post so the kills would go to waste. No hunting allowed of any kind because they want to keep it natural, but c'mon...

God, these things are fuckin' idiots. They wouldn't piss me off so much if they weren't getting people hurt/killed because of it. There are too many damn deer on post, tbh, and they are Everywhere.

Thank you all for your well wishes. I'm doing better and still have some feelings to work out. but I still feel for my mom and aunt as they are still clearing out her house and squaring away with final actions on her behalf. Funeral was a mixed bag as some people are awful and loove to make things about themselves at the worst times. Good news though, the lead position that I thought I got rejected for, well I got a call in today to come in thursday for an interview! I hope for the best; I've outgrown my part time job and its pay isn't helping much anymore, so fingers crossed.

Welp, so much for that. She passed away this Thursday morning while I was at work. Left work early, on/off crying all morning. I'm on bereavement leave and will still be heading down to Memphis Friday through the weekend.

Siiigh, gonna have to take a trip to Memphis to see my grandma alive for probably the last time. My relationship with her has strained over the years, but she doesn't deserve what she's going through...

Had a lot of fun on the cruise. We boarded in New Orleans, went through the gulf of Mexico, docked at Cozumel and Progreso, and looped back. My ma's wedding ceremony had us busy at first, and there where so many fun things to do and food to eat. And those cocktails make me want to learn drink mixing.Five days wasn't enough, I tell ya. 10/10 will do again. Photo Dump! New Orleans Port Docked at Cozumel. Dance party with the Cat in the Hat crew, lol.Progreso port was cool.Smoked Salmon BLT at Petite Amelie. Lordy, this was amazing!
