A: We Are Devo! is an absolute classic, must-listen record for any fan of punk / post punk / new wave / etc. That album is so good start to finish. Their subsequent releases were a bit more hit and miss, like they would have some choice cuts but also some duds, not exactly completely solid albums. Also, the concept of Devo opening for MCR is pretty funny. The OG lineup from Devo are all boomers and the band was formed before Gerard Way was even born. dr. b 495 Posted November 22 If you want something a bit more upbeat: “She Bangs the Drums” or “This is the One” Something a bit more psychedelic: “Waterfall” Moodier and a bit heavier: “I Wanna Be Adored” and “Made of Stone” If you like some of these tracks then you’ll probably enjoy the whole album. Their style was a mix of indie rock, 60s-esque pop and psychedelia, and dance-y vibes. I don’t enjoy their second record as much, and unfortunately they never did anything after that, but the self-titled album is IMHO a masterpiece that I never get tired of. dr. b 495 Posted 10 hours ago I got turned on to this artist Mei Semones and wow she and her band are a talented bunch Fun mix of jazz, indie, bossa, among other influences. The style and range of her vocals may not be to the liking of some, but even if you don't like her singing you've gotta appreciate her skills on the guitar. Born in the year 2000...!
